Skylanders at Comic-Con 2012- New Reveals? [CLOSED]

Cross posting with my thread in the Merchandise area; basically Skylanders should be making an appearance at SDCC.


While I was hoping the other thread might be able to brainstorm ideas on what new variant we'll see, I'm curious as to what everyone thinks they might show off in terms of Giants?

I personally think we'll get an "official" reveal of Swarm who will probably be on display either in the case or playable (Same with Crusher). I'd also say we should at least get names for the Fire Skylander, the Fire Giant, and the Water Skylander since they all appeared in that E3 poster.

Power A is what you guys would be looking for. IF they have the same setup though. Maybe they realized that they had all the new characters on the listing, and if they do another show, they'll have the regular one the stores have now.

Guess not. Unless there was some little showing and no one went or something.

I saw a tweet from someone mentioning they were hunting for a Hex figure, but I don't think it was an exclusive or anything. I'd be willing to be there were probably people selling them there too.

Like I said, Activision was there promoting other things (Like the hilarious Deadpool game coming out), so they probably wanted the focus to be more on the other games rather than Skylanders.

well at least we got that leak on amazon.de. they will pry just reveal the rest of the skylanders simalerly to the way they did for the first game. i can see them revealing 3 new figures and then releasing the character poster, but then waiting until the game is released to show off the rest of the figures.

the german have had information that was close before like there magazine that had the names of all of the skylanders and predicted dates on when they will be released untill the third waves then it was moved up.

^ I see something in the top right corner that looks like a black dragon with a purple light coming from its mouth. Maybe it's the Undead Giant; or it could just be Cynder or a different character, I don't have the best eyesight.

Edit: Yeah, I miss-saw it, it's definitely Cynder, sorry about that.
