for me i used
chapter 7: smilie smilie
chapter 11: smilie smilie smilie smilie
chapter 17: smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie
chapter 19: smilie smilie smilie smilie(on wii so no call me fireman! trophy) smilie
beat kaos i chapter 22 with just lv3smilie,lv7smilie,lv8smilie and lv5smilieand smilie came out at lv8,smilie at lv9,smilieat lv10 and smilie at lv9

For those four levels, I used only smilie, smilie, and smilie.

I remember these well because this was during my second playthrough when I was Achievement hunting:

  • Leviathan Lagoon: Using only basic smilie to unlock Phew! That was close! Achievement
  • Falling Forest: Using only basic smilie to unlock Dodge Ball Achievement
  • Creepy Citadel: Using only smilie on Blitz Spyro path to unlock Tag me if you can! Achievement
  • Lava Lakes Railway: Using only smilie on Water Weaver path to unlock Call Me Fireman! Achievement
  • Lair of Kaos: Using only smilie on Golden Money Bags path to unlock One for All! Achievement

With the exception of the final Kaos fight I either use 1, 2 or all 3 of the console starters... but it was months ago so I don't remember exactly.

For the final battle I used smilie and smilie... but smilie did suprisingly badly and died fairly early on so I did nearly all of it with smilie.

7, 11, 17 I can do it with any skylander

the last kaos level It takes me 3 at least

7: Zap and Dark Spyro
11: Sonic Boom, Whirlwind, Spyro
17: Trigger Happy, Dark Spyro
19: Gill Grunt
22: Spyro, Gill Grunt, Chop Chop, Stealth Elf, Terrafin, Ignitor... I think I used all the Skylanders I had opened at that point, but most weren't fully upgraded.
