how does the exp work? [CLOSED]

This may be a Giants question as well but in SSA even after your champion has reached Lvl 10 they are still able to grab exp. Does anyone know that the exp is carried onto the skylander as a numarical value so when they go to giants they may be a higher lvl already?

I havent updated since I don't particularly care but I have gotten all the skylanders except varients only ones are glow Warnado and WERDS

I am pretty sure any EXP you get after once getting level 10 goes to the trash. If it didn't, all my skylanders would instantly level all the way up on giants. And that's no fun.
