Hi guys,

My name is Jason, and my two boys love Skylanders (and so do I !!) anyway we got Whamshell the other day and now have everyone including Blue Bash and the Legendary ones, well we never managed to get gold or silver but I a not sure they are that easy to find here in the UK. Anyway I have a few questions I was hopeful some of you may be able to help me with.

Q1. Can you back up the save data on the 360? My boys are 7 and 4 and so far my youngest has managed to start a new game over the saved one three times deleting everything to say my eldest is not impressed in a understatement. I know he has done this by accident, but is there a way to copy the save file to another slot?

Q2. Will the sidekicks be available in the UK? I have emailed the people who make Walkers Crisps and Dorritos and I just gow blown off with a automated response.

Oh yeah this may help a few people out, I emailed the people responsible for the Skylanders trading card game, and they actually replied. They said that the game is due to launch on the 30th of August and the starter pack with be £4.99 and packs of cards will be 75p per pack.

1. Since you're using an Xbox, I believe you can save data onto a USB or portable hard drive.

2. No one is really sure yet, unfortunately, I doubt they will be released anywhere else besides the USA.

Yes, if you go into Settings and then Storage, you can navigate to the samed game files. There is a master game file as well as a save game file for each slot.

You can copy these to a USB stick (or removable hard drive).

1. yes you can keep a copy of your saved data on the cloud for xbox or you can as chaos said have it on a jump drive or save it in two places

I've already emailed Walkers (can't for the life of me find that email to quote it right now) and they have confirmed that they will not be doing any Skylanders promotions over here (UK). It sucks but that's it.

I've also emailed Activision and Blizzard and gotten no response.

I also sent a message to the Skylanders Game Facebook page, but that just resulted in (I assume) American lady arguing with me over the reason American companies can't do Worldwide promotions. She called taxes, I called Wrecking Ball droppings

Why can't everyone simply understand the plain truth that the world begins and ends at the MerryCan borders?

Oh, well at least they haven't completely screwed up the card prices, unlike Pokemon-seriously who is going to but 9 pieces of cardboard for £3.50? I'm not really that disappointed at the sidekicks thing-they look like they were made by a 3 year old i.e. hideous.

Hi thanks for the replies guys. Sucks were not getting these in the UK. I am quite surprised as I get the reason for not bothering with the flocked Stump Smash, but with these being actual in game content I thought we may have gotten them. Oh well who knows perhaps they will release them at retail over here. Thanks again for the help with backing up the data.
