Have a skylander that cant do a heroic challenge and dont want to reset, well, if you have the wii version... Theres a way to do it. Start the challenge with Whirlwind which will glitch the game so if you take whirlwind off and put a character that can do the challenge and Whirly will switch to that character and when your almost done... Switch to the skylander that you wanted to win it in the first place and win and the buff goes to the skylander currently on the portal.
This tip helps me with challenges such as Zap's Double Trouble's and of course... Drobot!

What I'm doing is beating those three heroic challenges with every character because most of mine aren't fully upgraded yet and these all require you to not break stuff. This trick is also helpful for the challenges where you have to hit enemies on platforms, such as the pirate heroic challenge, since Whirlwind's rainbow attack easily reaches them.
