Alot of skylanders got a lot of hype, and then was a real disappointment to some. Was wondering which skylanders you was disappointed about. For me it was lightning rod, and camo especially. An kinda wham shell, but I never payed attention to his hype cause reading about him just didn't interest me, and I was right about him in my opinion

For me it was Camo. I never expected he would be so...fruity. lol

Yeah I'm not saying I dis like camo but he wasn't all that either.

I would have to say Lightning Rod and Warnado. Both were big disappointments for me, especially Warnado though, as he looked fantastic.

Warnado and Lightning Rod: Both were not as great as the hype was letting on. Especially Warnado, I was hoping for better things out of him :/ Oh well.

Well warnado really didn't sound like he was gonna be strong just fun to play with, which I do have fun playing with him.

I don't really like the ones that fly, so I'm glad he doesn't. I rather have three powers then just two

That's what his Phoenix Dash or teleport is for. Modes of locomotion that hurt enemies. And I don't think the flight abilities from the other characters hurt enemies anyway.

I was expecting way more from Chop Chop. Here we have an obvious developer favorite, promoted heavily and given a Legendary version, gold variant, AND bobble stylus. Even in-game, Kaos' Chop Chop is a buzzsaw of pure death who defends and attacks with no problem whatsoever. So, what happened with the player version? Why is he the worst character in the game, when they pretty clearly were trying not to have a worst at all? It's very disappointing. I wanted Chop Chop to be good.

To be fair, Chop Chop is really good in the 3DS version.

My sister was hyped for camo, she couldnt get over his cuteness!

I thought Warnado's appearance was just the best thing ever and I got so excited when I found him at Best Buy. He kind of sucks though... Camo is another one that was hyped a lot and I actually really like him, favorite life element. But his figure looks a lot different from his appearance in the game.

That he is. If you have both versions, you have a use for Chop Chop. He's easily the best Undead on 3DS.

He's probably the best character period on the 3DS version, seeing as there isn't really a good way to dodge attacks with any of the other characters except MAYBE Sunburn.

I started collecting later then most and chop chop was already out. So I didn't hear his hype. Him and flame slinger was actually my first two skylanders I bought (besides the starter kit) which they both was kinda weak in my opinion but this is on the ps3. And camo just really wasn't what I was aspecting was hoping to fire watermelons off at people, not just as a defense. Really big disappointment. Stealth elf is much more fun to play with.

I expected to much out of warnado. I thought he would have cooler/better attacks. When I tried him first I was like oh.... Ummm. So yeah DEFINETLY warnado. I still think he's ok but still, not what I expected.

Hmmm... can't relate to this at all.

On the contrary, there were several figs I thought would stink but then I played them and was nicely surprised. I like each one as I play them more...

Except Chop Chop. I was never 'hyped' about him but he just doesn't seem to be good at all. I think his ultimate shield power is glitched and does not release like it is supposed to. Stunning things to death takes quite a long time...

EDIT: Even though he stinks, L-C-C is still my fav undead, hah, he loses in style

This. I've never been disappointed in any of the skylanders, except maybe Wrecking Ball at first.

Sunburn. I wasn't really that excited about him to begin with, but man... He's ****... His flamethrower is terribly awkward to use, it's too long for a short range, and too short for a long range, plus it takes ages to fully charge up. His teleport is virtually uncontrolable, and again awkward. He's also slow as hell, and the lack of flight is a pain, expecially seeing as his flame dash is pretty much useless. No offense to anyone who does like him, I just can't stand him myself.

My CC is a buzzsaw of death, don't know about you guys but him and Ignitor are beastly

Not hyped up, but I expected way more from Eruptor. He was my fave Fire Skylander, but both of his paths suck ._.

Whirly, Sunny D, and Cyndy: All of there are so cool-looking! But Whirlwind has crappy attacks, range and defense. Sunburn has the same, has that stupid teleport thing that gets you nowhere, and can't fly. Cynder is the best out of the three, but again, I feel he attacks are either weak or don't go far enough, and you have to use precise angling and timing to make your ghosts explode.

I've been thinking about this and I have to say: Terrafin.

Everyone says how great he is... and sure he's strong but I don't really find him any better than most other Skylanders. Maybe if I played more PvP I'd be more impressed but Terrafin isn't even my top Earth Skylander. I would choose any of the other S tiers over him... and Double Trouble and Dino-Rang...

His Eathswim takes too long to start and often gets interrupted and I find this limits the usefulness of his Belly Flop attack... I always struggle to guess when he'll pop back up which often leaves him vulnerable to attack. And that is exactly the reason I found he was useless for the Tag me if you can! trophy despite everyone advising me to use him for it.

Don't get me wrong, I know Terrafin is really strong... but he was hyped up so much before I got him that I found he didn't live up to his reputation.

I agree here. I hardly ever use him in pve, since the likes of Stealth Elf, Bash etc. are much quicker. The reason for all the hype is because he can't take damage, but he doesn't do that much damage in pve, and the underground swim is awkward. It is in pvp where he really shines-beats the crap out of pretty much every skylander apart from Stealth Elf. In pve, I would choose another S tier character yes.

I've soured a bit on Terrafin myself. Not because he isn't great, but because he's just not as fun as he should be for that level of ability. I'll take Dino Rang for Earth.
