I had an idea for the card game and i want to see your ideas.

If you have doubles you could play go fish.

Clever but i want to hear a more unique game that incorperates their stats. You want to hear my idea?

Maybe something like the pokémon card game or yu-gi-oh card game
Heres what the rules could be:
Health:There max health on lv 10
Power:There power is equal to what damage they do (e.g. Spyro takes 50 damage from Gill)
Defense:Minus that from there oponents attack there the damage(e.g. Chop Chop defense=100-Gill attack=50 so 100-50=50 damage)
Speed:There speed determens who gos first(e.g. Stealth Elf speed =100 she gos before Trigg with 50 speed
Luck:There luck allows them to either dodge or deflect attacks(only aloud once per round and only works if your luck is higher then the opponents by 30)
Thats my idea but I am not so sure about luck do you have any ideas.

I do have idea
You use their stats to win for example
One person chooses Stump smash and uses their attack bar which as 90
The other person chooses Voodood and his speed bar which is 60
The players play their cards face down and say thier stat than when all cards are played down they flip them over
90 beats 60 and the stump smash guy wins voodood
The person who loses all his skylanders loses
Magic items have different uses
Location pieces kill the opponent's skylander instantly
Hidden treasure boosts the figure's stats by 100
Ghost pirate swords double your stats
Sky iron sheild lets you switch a skylander that died so you can keep the dead one
Sparx plays the same as a location piece
Time twister allows you to see your opponents character
Healing elixer allows you to take a skylander you lost back to you
Winged boots makes both players choose different cards
When you play a magic item, you put it in a magic item discard pile and if a player beats somebody with the stat of 100 without help from a magic item, you can take a magic item from the pile
If both players draw location pieces, draw different cards
If both players play magic items, draw different cards (with the execption on sparx and time twister)
If both players play stats that tie, play rock paper scissors and winner takes opponents card

I had an idea:
Do it top trumps stylie!

The person going first chooses a stat, and whoever wins gets the other's card.
Then, each of the items do something different:
Ghost pirate swords: Attack +40
Dragon Treasure: Luck +40

Healing elixir: Steal one card
Time twister: Go first automatically

Sky-shield thingy: Defence +40
Anvil Rain: Steal 2 cards, but give away 1.

Winged Boots: Agility +40
Sparxs Dragonfly: All +20 for 2 turns.

Renewing items: Items are renewed after three turns.

All Levels: One use, instant kill.

Interesting!

Right now, my kids play a match game with all the cards flipped over then they pick a skylander figure and try and match it to the card. They also play a guessing game where they choose one card from the deck and the other starts with the question"person or thing"? then if its a person, they guess an element then guess the character. My 3 year old gets hours of fun from both games.

#1 put all the cards in a pile #2 pick 3 cards those are your skylanders #3 choose one and your opponit they will dual #4 stats: power-your power level, defense-your hp, speed-whoever was the fastest goes 1st tie? rock paper sizers. luck. grants number of doge's you can use like skylander luck 80=8 to be fair #5 keep doing this until someones pile is destroyed (depending in the amount of cards you can pick another after one is defeated) the person who still has skylanders wins. up to 4 people can play

Magic cards
swords- attacks opponent dose 20 forgot each player has a 100hp if thats down their are automatically defeated
treasure- pick another card 4 skylanders=more choices
healing elxer- heals 20hp
time twister-skips a turn for a enemy
anvil rain- attacks opponent dose 40 damage
sheild- prevents magic cards for 5 turns
winged boots-gives you an extra turn
sparx-heals 40hp

a board game of some sort

Also complete distruction cards
pirate sees-any non water skylanders get soaked take them out of play
dark crypt-Any skylander thats non undead get sent into the dead zone a place where its always night and can be brought back as zombies on the enmys side
empire of ice- evrey magic card is frozen and can not come back
dragons peak- only dragon types can battle others are removed
