So it seems that the general consensus for Double Trouble is to take the Channeler path. Super Beam and Super Bomb are popular and powerful attacks. But how is the Conjouror path? (It seems a lot like Sonic Boom's baby path, really. Just not nearly as cute.)

I hardly used Double Trouble's mini exploding head attack, so I wouldn't think for a minute about upgrading that ability.

I may try it. I gave my Double Trouble for a friend because I got a three pack with him, so I'll try upgrading that ability to be unique. I mean, I never gave secondary attacks much of a chance anyway, so I may as well try it.

Its kind of weird. The doubles are kind of the "signature" attack for double trouble, but the damage output from his Channeler path puts the doubles to shame.
Kinda sucks because they were a good idea, but they sort of fail just like the AI for other characters "assistant" paths.

I went with his Elementalist path since he's a Magic element and also because it would work well with his Soul Gem upgrade. However, I think I'd much prefer the path that upgrades his hookshot, which is my favorite attack of his. When I see Double Trouble's regular staff attack homing in and kicking ass, I find it hard to not want to see it upgraded. |

The only problem with the doubles is that they're not actually all that much better on Conjuror than they are on Channeler. Meanwhile, the upgrades you get for the deadly Beam & Bomb combo on Channeler are huge. It's a lot of fun, but the gains really aren't competitive.

Conjorer is a great path but doesnt compare to channeler

I agree with CGR, name shouldn't be named after his second attack that is inferior to his Eldritch Beam.He should be tiki madness

It must be awful. The 3DS version attempts to center his damage on the Doubles, and in fact, has only one upgrade for the Beam which simply causes an explosion upon landing, and it turned out as what is easily the worst character I've played so far. Other than ConsoleChop that is.
