Ps3 lost dialog audio only?? [CLOSED]

My son beat the game, and then reset it so we started over. Since then all the dialog displays on the screen, but the voices are not heard. I have all background noise and have tried changing the audio settings all around but nothing worked. We even went so far as to factory reset the whole Ps3 and the text still shows on the screen, but we can't hear it. Normally I could live with this, but he's 3 and hasn't learned how to read yet :-( Anyone have an idea on a resolution?
