Currently, under the Limited Edition section of the rewards program, you can get a Silver Dinorang, Gold Drill Sergeant, or Silver Eruptor. They range from around 30,000 to 50,000 points. A bit ridiculous as far as the amount of points for redemption goes, but still kind of cool nonetheless

What cool..yeah it took me a numerous of transactions and game trade almost every day of the month to reach 10,000 points...so i could see this draining my wallet & time lol..

and it says they are all sold out. how long did that even last? who has that many points?!

I don't believe they were in stock at all. Rather, they're going to be in stock eventually, probably soon.
Furthermore, it seems they only had ONE of each. They wouldn't have mentioned on the Silver Eruptor page that it had a bent blister otherwise.

They were in stock I had a chance but not enough points.

Given that these were the old variants, is it not likely that they were merely trade-ins?

I gave it a lot of thought today, but TFB is making way too many variants to make collecting variants worthwhile.

I just had a chance at getting a clear Cynder, but can you believe it... I passed on it.

These things are meaningless in the face of what matters in life, which is living hard before dying, not collecting toys. I am keeping the actual stuff, but thanks to TFB they killed my buzz in even trying for variants.

So, I am going to be getting rid of my 3 silvers, 3 golds, Toy Fair Cynder, blue Bash and store exclusive Whirlwind and Drill Sergeant. I figured now is the best time to get rid of them, before they aren't worth squat in the long run, and I'm stuck feeling dumb.

So, it's cool to see GS doing this... I guess. However, if I passed on a clear Cynder for 100 bucks, I am definately passing for what Gamestop is asking for them.
