The noise sounds fake. (I cant comment on the figure, never seen it before) But I would actually really do this if I had one. Just for the lolz.

Pretty sure it was a real Toy Fair Cynder, but he has the heel of his foot elevated and doesn't actually step down on it...it just sounds wrong though and if you went through the trouble of crushing a real Toy Fair Cynder for youtube, you'd show it. Lies...all lies...someone should blend their rare Skylander, now that'd be entertaining!

I have to admit, if I got a metallic Cynder I would destroy it too.... or sell it for a real copy of Mother 3 and Earthbound.

If you turn off the volume it looks like his foot just hovers.

Sound is very fake he never went all the way down, plus this type of plastic in the figures would not sound like crumpling a bag of chips.

As others said, I think it's fake.

1) He didn't put his foot down far enough
2) That noise was just off; sounds like he was treading on a leaf more than anything.
3) I don't think you'd be able to destroy a skylander just by gently stomping on it, especially Cynder since she's so bendy.

I honestly don't understand why people would believe this, it's obviously faked. Like others stated above, the sound is off and his foot is hovering above the figure. At the rate and pressure that would be applied if he really came into contact with the figure wouldn't cause any damage and if it did, it would be extremely subtle. The flexible wings on Cynder and her horns would absorb most of the impact. Plus at the 45 degree angle of his foot, the weight would be evenly distributed across her tail and head so it would require a great amount of pressure to snap her legs away from the body piece.

About the authenticity of the figure, it might be a fake because the paint does look off but I'm thinking it's the lighting and low quality camera. He actually wouldn't need a fake figure for this video due to him not truly crushing it.

This is just my conjecture, I may be wrong.

The figure itself isn´t fake. He didn´t really destroy it though. He even made a video of unboxing the figure.

That is NOT the sound a Skylander would make being crushed by a foot, it would be more of a 'snap' than a 'crisp packed crunch'
