Dose any one know if there is a TV show in the works?

Not actually said but I very much doubt it as Activi$ion makes mostly games.

^ They could give the rights to an animation studio however. Activision DID mention that they got a lot of requests from various companies on wanting to do something with Skylanders.

If there is a TV show then don't expect it to come out any time this year.

I think their best bet would be to make animated shorts. Angry Birds does it, and airs them on Nick (which, by the way, was a partner with Activision and Skylanders in the UK). They're nice little things. A fully animated show might be..well..that money could go into something more worthwhile.

I'd really love them to be on CN, but CN treats all their shows like crap unless it's Ben 10 or their latest live action show. Nick isn't so bad, but I hardly ever watch it any more.

I think they should make an anime because it might cost money but its not like activi$ion does't have it and it would help the skylanders market

A tv show is highly possible. Considering Activision is churning out books for the first time in the history of spyro I wouldn't be surprised if we saw our favorite purple dragon and his friends playing around on the television screen in a tv show. I would say that skylanders the tv show should be put on the hub due to the fact that they treat their shows well and most of their shows are games and toys.

A TV show would be nice, but with 32 main characters... It's highly unlikely

While I can understand your personal decision, I think a lot of folks of all ages would latch on pretty tightly (so long as the show was well done) due to the response from fans of all ages toward MLP:FIM. I never saw that one coming, but the fans are numerous and rabid. I have to wonder if Skylanders fans would be more or less so.

MATURE AND DEEP CARTOON SHOWS FOR MATURE CARTOON WATCHERS SUCH AS MYSELF

If they get good writers, they can make it appeal to all ages, with humor and references that would go over the heads of children but would get a good kick out of the more older audiences, Rocko's Modern Life is a good example.

TV Shows for franchises have been a key component in keeping the "buzz" going. I just hope that if Activision will go ahead with a TV Show that they would put the same amount of effort, time and investment that they did for the game. It would suck if they have a game and toy line that is really good but they ended up with a poorly done TV show.

Oh you know there's a TV show coming with the popularity of this franchise. What would be awesome is if they used the same animation as in the cutscenes and intro movie.
