are these items still a rare thing? or has best buy flooded the market with it? mainly im just wanting to have it for trading possiblities when giants is around. and you guys know im not a scalper. so lemme know what you think?

I would say the markets been flooded. Though by the time Giants hits, who knows. If I were you I'd hang onto it until around the release date of Giants and scan ebays BIN auctions sorted by price plus shipping, lowest first. That'd give you a decent idea of what its value is at the time. Right now the lowest on ebay is $20 BIN, but there are a ton being thrown in as "freebies" with other skylanders.

Nope, not anymore and I'm loving it. I can't understand why people were selling them for over $50 on ebay like they were some sort of holy grail. It gives you a new PvP level, and a reskin at that. If it was some super rare character that actually had a purpose, that I could see.

There seems to be a lot out now though that Best Buy has them back. So they're probably not worth much more than the cost of buying it.

Yeah they aren't rare anymore. I'm glad I waiting to get mine as a freebee at best buy.
But like someone mentioned earlier it may be different once "Giants" is released. I traded my extra Vault for a Wham Shell. And to be honest its not really that big of a deal anyway I mean its just a reskin of a PVP level :/ I played in it a few rounds and got bored with it after that lol. Now its just a collection piece and nothing more than that. :/

I still need one and cant get one on ebay for less than 20. The 2 local best buys here in clearwater fl dont seem to ever get ones in. What is the retail cost at best buy?

I don't think they get them in anymore, it was a preorder exclusive if I remember correctly?

Anyways, I've yet to get one. I've seen them on eBay for up to $25 so I think they're worth something.

They're not that easy to obtain without first going through auction sites or paying a high price for them, so they're still plenty worth it to collectors, but their worth to casual Skylanders players is certainly debatable for sure.
