i posted in this form cuz my question goes to players who mainly play the counsel games.
did anyone actually bother with the hero level?
if you did, do you regret putting that much time into it?
or dos it go by quickly?
how bad are the glitches on SSU?

I had Spyro and Whirlwind up to 50, but that was before any updates. (Actually..before I even bought the game!)

It was much easier to do it then, so I kind of regret not doing it for all of them now. Although, might be something to do while waiting for new stuff.

This is for the online game, right? My son and I were using his 3DS portal to level up some figures on there, so everything should have saved to the figures, but when we play them on the Wii, they all still say hero level is zero (or one, or whatever). We must be doing something wrong, but we weren't really overly impressed with the online game, so we stopped playing.

When they are on the portal in your lair you can click on a stats button under the portal and it will have a button that says 'update' after you click that then it should change on the system.

I asked in the "Spyro's Universe" forum if there was some sort of user's manual for the online game, because there needs to be. Unfortunately, there isn't one, so we were just wandering around. Seemed kind of lame to me, but whatever.

Can anyone give me an estimate on how many hours it would take to get one skylanders hero level from zero to 50? (that is the max right?)

If you played continuously, and only smashed crates, maybe an hour or 2. Playing games might take a bit longer and the payout isn't much better than just continuing to smash crates, eat plants and take down the totems and whatnot.
