Hi guys I am fairly new to Skylanders, I have a few questions to ask you guys.

1. Who is the best over all to own for each element, so far I have
   
2. Is there any difference between the Legendary/limited characters and normal besides the color change.
   
3. Is the web code usable on Universe & Cloud Portal

1. Everyone has a different opinion but taking gameplay into account and considering I don't own all of them personally I'd have to say: , , , , , , (though is a close 2nd and I'm increasingly interested in who is not out in my country), (until I've tried at least).
   
2. Legendaries have slightly better stats but not noticably so.

I'll look into getting more soon, I really do want to try to get at least one Skylander from each element then fill in the gaps.

If you're just going for one of each element I'd recommend getting the adventure packs, in Darklight Crypt is really good on the PS3/360/PC/Mac but not so good on the Wii, you do get a pretty good level with him though and 2 magic items. Dragon's Peak (if you are lucky enough to live in a country where it is out... unlike me) offers who looks really good. You get in Pirate Seas, he's really good for Earth (though I see you already have Dino-Rang from that element) and in Empire of Ice is unfortunately another water, I've not used he so much (he's fairly new to my team) but people seem to like him.

Well, I intend to get more than just 1 from each element, it's more of a "now" thing
