All it says is that he has a role. In a game Like Skylanders, having a role could simply mean that the character is in the game. I also see that they basically admitted Skylanders SA wasn't an actual Spyro game.

Here's a recent look on the storyline:

"Following his defeat, the evil Portal Master, Kaos, has been banished from Skylands and is now trapped on Earth. The villain is attempting to return, but he isn't the only threat to the Skylanders. A mysterious ancient species has somehow been revived after a 10,000 year slumber and is wrecking havoc. In response, the legendary Portal Master, Eon, tasks you with reviving the Giants, a race of creatures that locked away this new menace a millennia ago."

Hmmmm no online confirmed...that's sucks but it's not exactly a deal breaker. I'm still holding out that there won't be any new levels for the new Skylanders. There really is no reason that they need to go higher than level 10. Plus that makes it easier to deal with the technological restrains of the first gen. figs.

Not if you look in the right places - you can get them for regular prices at places like Argos you just have the disadvantage of not being able to get a choice before hand. But, as I've mentioned many times before, you don't need any figures at all so you shouldn't worry about the cost of other figures.

To get 100%, all you need is a character of each element. You get Spyro, Trigger Happy and Gil Grunt (Magic, Tech and Water) leaving only 5 more. The figures are readily available everywhere (I'd assume the same is for UK?) so you should have no problem getting everything you want.

Let's be fair here: The fact that they didn't bother adding an online multiplayer, something that a lot of people wanted, gives off hints that they probably didn't change much in the game. In other words, there's very high odds that this will be the exact same game as the first Skylanders. This is what I call Call of Duty Syndrome.

Toys For Bob doesn't automatically SUCK, but the fact that they aren't changing anything is not a good thing.

So if no online is put in, and the game barely changes, why should Kappa (or me, to an extent) bother buying the game? Why should he buy the same game all over again? I want an honest answer, Aura. I know you can give me one.


its not that they didnt bother, they seem to have tried, but like a previous commenter stated, the figure hold the data. so it would be hard to transfer the data globally.
