Pocoyo: Purgatory theory [CLOSED]
ExtremeSpyro Ripto Gems: 112

Have you seen this dreadful little show called Pocoyo? Well, there's actually a hidden meaning behind it.
Pocoyo has been dead for years; he never made it to heaven or hell. He's stuck in purgatory. The british narrator guy is God, and Pocoyo's animal friends were created by God to help him cope with Purgatory. And since Pocoyo is in purgatory as a child, that means he died as a child.
Bit of a dark message there, Guillermo García Carsí.

I figured it out.
And Yo Gabba Gabba is an insane dream that someone keeps having.
And in Team Umizoomi Journey To Numberland, it is implied that the villains shark has killed people.

Wow. I've seen it a few times and I had no idea that that was the meaning.

Yep. I like things like that.
But it seems so obvious. Yet I am the first person to point that out.
Up next; My analysis of Dora The Explorer.

I've never heard of the Purgatory Theory, but if I did, I'd probably get it.

A purgatory theory is evidenced by a few things;
1. The general location of the show/movie is in a blank white area
2. The characters do not age
SpirowdeDragoon Blue Sparx Gems: 600
#8 Posted: 01:04:06 13/04/2012
I know about the blank background, but most characters in a little kid's show don't age.

#9 Posted: 02:26:09 13/04/2012 | Topic Creator
Wrong.
Take a look at any TV show where any character has a birthday party.
And Dora The Explorer is one big hallucination that Dora has. Nothing is real. Boots isn't real. Swiper isn't real. Heck, Dora's own parents aren't real. Dora is an escaped mental patient who has schizophrenia, and all the "exploring" she does is simply running from the authorities.
SpirowdeDragoon Blue Sparx Gems: 600
#10 Posted: 02:38:21 13/04/2012
Yes, they have a birthday party and still look the same throughout the entire series (I'm still referring to kid's shows). Now that you mention it, there's a chance that an episode of Pocoyo might have dealt with his birthday. Spirow agrees with the Dora analysis, though.

Sure. I guess. What did you mean by "I like things like that."? You like creepy, dark, and twisted stuff?

No, silly. I like hidden meanings within things.
And now, here is my analysis for more Nick Jr shows;
Go Diego Go: Diego was abandoned as an infant, and when he grew up, he ran away from the orphanage and lived in the forest. There, he was raised by the animals. Diego managed to help any animal who was in trouble, and eventually he gained the trust of the animals in the forest. Like Dora, he is a shizophrenic, as he imagines himself talking to the animals, trees, rainbows, etc. Diego's camera Click is just a very high tec spotting scope that he found by some dead explorers. And his Rescue Pack is in actuality just a bunch of tools strapped to his back. These tools were from the same explorers. All his other tools (Computer, gps, etc.) Were taken from his orphanage when he left.
Team Umizoomi: Umi City represents Heaven, it's inhabitants represent the Angels living in Heaven, Team Umizoomi themselves are three gods. The people that Team Umizoomi help are in actuality Angels trying to get to heaven. Team Umizoomi's fascination with numbers is actually a fascination with religion. During the Journey To Numberland episode, they meet a number-hating imp named Zilch. In actuality, Zilch is a being who worships Satan. The King of Numbers is just another god. Numberland itself is Paradise.

Amazing, ain't it? I still hate Nick Jr. It's the worst tv channel ever.
Yo Gabba Gabba: It is all an insane dream that a mental patient has over and over again.
Alternate Analysis: The show takes place in Purgatory, DJ Lance Rock represents God, and the Gabba Gang represent the spirits living in Purgatory. The celebrity guest stars are other Gods that God calls to help the spirits educate themselves. Music, in actuality, is religion.

DAMN. You're good. You should hate Disney Junior even more; it has sexual messages and that's worse. I'd like to read a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic analysis, but don't post it here (people have been whining about ponies in wrong topics lately).

Hmm, I haven't seen any Disney Junior show yet.
I hate Nick Jr because their shows suck. Especially Peppa Pig and Dino Dan.
Olivia The Pig Analysis: It's all one big science experiment to see how average people would react to certain situations.
SpirowdeDragoon Blue Sparx Gems: 600
#18 Posted: 21:35:48 13/04/2012
Peppa Pig is stupid, Dino Dan I just don't the point. I'm not really sure about the Olivia analysis, because I've never watched it.

Jeez, we're like peas in a pod! I hate those two shows so much, they're worse than The Upside Down Show and Oobi.
The only way I come up with these analyses is if I watch the show for an extended length of time.
Dino Dan, I cant say anything that people haven't said before; He's a schizophrenic, he takes it WAY too seriously, his dad is away constantly. End of story.

What, no!! I liked Oobi! ..When I was a kid. ._. I'm starting to wonder, what's up with all the schizophrenia in these shows?
ExtremeSpyro Ripto Gems: 112

Oobi is just disturbing. It's like you're watching Hell.
As a matter of fact....
Oobi Analysis; You are at a flea market. You find an old stack of DVDs, labeled "Child entertainment videos". You assume this is some old home videos from long ago. The seller tells you they were made from 2001-2006, and you think "Wow, that's a long time!" you buy the dvds for $2.00, and you go back home and watch them.
The episodes of Oobi are those videos.

#22 Posted: 22:24:32 13/04/2012
I really don't get how Oobi is disturbing. Weird, yes. Disturbing, that's an overstatement. Explanations would be nice.

Talking hands. Low budget, you know. Creepypasta like. The eyes don't blink. There's one scene where they're in a bathroom and one of the characters is covered in mud, though it looks like something else...

...she's covered in feces.
Also, the very low-budget feel makes it feel unsettling. Like clowns, for example.

I would do an analysis of MLP, but I've only ever watched one episode. Though I think I might become a brony. After all, if thousands of other male people are into MLP, then what's the harm in me joining the herd too, eh?

Mike The Knight
Mike is a soldier of god. His friends are also soldiers of god. The residents of Glendragon are Angels. Glendragon is heaven.
Olivia The Pig (revised)
A laboratory gathers several families, places them in a neighborhood that they built within the facility (Because the town is so small, think of it like Seahaven from The Truman Show) and tests their reactions to specific situations.
Peppa Pig (Not really an analysis, but rather a look into her future.)
Since Peppa is so spoiled rotten, she grows up that way, thinking the world will give her everything she wants. She's wrong. DEAD wrong. She ends up living on the street and her life is in ruins. She eventually ends herself.

Also, it is entirely possible that Pocoyo was aborted. That's right. He was killed before he was even born.

More hallucinations? GEEZ. Oh, and about the Hello Kitty thing, I do remember getting a DVD of it. That's the closest thing to a TV show I've watched. All I remember was part of the theme song:

Hello Hello Kitty! Play with us today!
C'mon and sing on this lovely, sunny day!
All your friends are waiting for you, ready to run and play!
All your friends have gathered around, this is what they say!

Something something something something brighten up our day! Oh!

It seems Nick Jr really likes Schizophrenia and Purgatory.
Upside Down Show:
Two brothers living in purgatory.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (I've only ever watched one episode, and read a few fanfics)
Equestria = Heaven
Celestia = God
Ponies living in Equestria = Angels
Luna/Night Mare Moon = Satan
All roads lead to death when it comes to kids shows.
