Hello!
I'm new here and I apologize ahead of time if this has already been discussed. I've done several searched and read through several pages of threads and have not found anything, so here goes.

We have 12 figures and some of them have just stopped working. The portal reads them briefly (we hear the intro phrase) then says that the figure does not work and we should contact Activision. After 3 stopped working, I submitted a reqest through the website and the first one processed on-line. I was directed to the customer service line for the others. They were very nice and helpful - I had to take pics of the figures and email new a request. We received the first replacement and are waiting on the others, but in the meantime 2 more are not working. I guess it's nice that Activision seems to be okay with replacing them, but it's still very frustrating for my sons.

I saw a YouTube video where a guy got his figures to work again on the PC, but we have the Wii so his solution wouldn't work for us. I was wondering if others have had this problem and if so, what are you doing about it?

this happen on me to with my bash and double trouble. was able to replace bash, but not DT cuz they dont let you replace figs after wave 2 on there site.
they must have realized that 1 out of about every 15 of there skylanders is defected.

There's a trick apparently in which the 3DS version will fix them. I dunno how, but that's what a lot of people have done for this problem.

Activision has been really good about these, which is nice. Although they kind of made the whole process a lot longer than what it was when the game first came out.

Thanks for all of your comments. Maybe I'll try FB or those Twitter addresses that the Activision guy (Faviano) gave in an earlier thread that I found. I've already been in touch with them on-line, by phone, and by email. So far they've been pretty nice but I don't want to have to keep having figures replaced - 6 are no longer working - that's ridiculous! I was hoping maybe for a trick to make them work on the Wii. Oh well...

Keep them away from magnets. Honestly that shouldn't affect their flash based storage but you never know with magnets. They seem to mess everything up!

i dont know that this is really the right place to post this question, but i got pirate seas recently and since the first time i put the treasure on it says its out of power... i dont know what to do to fix it.

Are you trying it on the ruins? If so I would have to use my psychic powers to say you're on either the 360, PS3 or PC.... certainly not the Wii.

It's not supposed to work in the ruins, there is a bug in the Wii version that allows people to use it infinately. This was fixed in the other versions.

Try it in a level, I bet it will work.

My treasure won't work on the first and second chapters anymore saying it's already out of power. Works fine on other stages.
