what if they made "events" for skylanders. if you are a pokemon fan you would know what i mean. i mean, when you go to a place like gamestop or toys r us, they could put something on your figures, like make them able to do both paths, for free. i don't know if this would be possible, but tell me what you think

Ya like The 100 Reshiram and Zekrom (which I got) thing at any wifi. Also If you look at Kaos' Chop Chop, he has an upgrade from the shield path. That would be cool though.

Skylanders isn't really that flexible for events tbh.

those are tricky to code, it only worked for pokemon since the game was flexible enough to include events like that, and extra data.

something simple like boosting the figure's level could work, i guess, if they had the right authorship tools.

i know, but it would still be cool. i would love to have both paths.

Actually you'd think the Pokemon ones would be where all the neckbeards come out to roam, but I rarely see any. And actually, the last one I had to wait in a line for (The MYSTRY Mew for that one movie) there was mostly kids. Which is great because THOSE are the kind of people you want to see at those events.

I think we've learned our lesson though with TRU, Skylanders and "events". Rather than walking in and downloading something over wifi, you'll be waiting in line behind people and then see then reselling the figures online for all of your dollars.

(And actually, I don't think it'd really be feasible for them to do anything with that either. I mean, MAYBE give you a higher level or more coins or something, but that's it)

I've always thought though, it'd be cool if you could get something by putting them on the portal in the store. Like an accolade or something. At least when Giants comes out, that'll hopefully be how we figure out if something is a LightForce figure or not.
