Who all is planning on going to TRU tomorrow for the blue Bash? If you are, how early are you planning on being there?

I find it hilarious that TRU will release an email about being overstocked with L-TH (L-TH must be over running the stores), but they haven't released anything "official" about the blue Bash. I even posted on their Facebook asking about it and a non-TRU person replied to it.

But that's a different story.

I'm planning on going and waiting about an hour or so before they open. I told my friend I'd help her get one for her son since they're in Disney and he wants Skylanders for his birthday. I'm worried about how limited stocks going to be, especially since my TRU screwed a couple dozen people over on 3/21. Plus, I'm thinking this will be one of the cheapest ways to get a variant 'Lander besides the Legendaries.

id call your toys r us and ask them how many they will have in stock for 2mar

Not me! I dont really find blue bash useful to me. In fact why even make it if your not going to make it blue in the game! If it was blue in the game, I might buy it, other than that don't see anything useful about the blue bash.

I wont go Specifficly for him. But if i see him when im looking for other.skylanders or
whatever then ill.pick him up.

im not going since im in kalispell on my vacation i dont think they have a TRU so im not

i probably would not go anyway an our or so early would be perfect you will probably be first actually

I called them and they said they haven't received the shipment for the Bashes in yet. They're expecting them, but they said that they can't confirm that it'll be released tomorrow unless they have the item in their hands.

I think he looks pretty cool, in all honesty. I wish the green Bash would've won in the voting, though, since green's my favorite color. Lol

Have fun on your vacation. And yeah, I'm thinking that's definitely good. I got there a little earlier than an hour on 3/21 and was third in line. Of course, with this being a Sunday, it could be a little different, but I'm hoping that Palm Sunday will help balance the crowd out (if there is a crowd).

My kids decided they didn't want him when they found out he looked like regular Bash in game.

Well let's see. We got two free five-dollar gift cards at TRU last week. Blue Bash costs about ten bucks. Toys 'R' Us is less than half an hour away. The baby wakes us up early anyway. Given that we would get the figure for free, the store isn't far, and we don't have to set an alarm, there's absolutely no reason not to go grab a Blue Bash. It's not a big deal like the last two TRU "events," but it's not like having Blue Bash adds nothing to a prospective collection.

I'm going too but I don't feel like heading out very early. I plan on getting there no later than thirty minutes until they open.

I'm quite happy with my Legendary Bash, so no.

I think if you have nothing better to do, head out and give it a try. I went this morning because I got the famous legendary trigger happy email even though I wasnt interested. Lo and behold, all the adventure packs were available and so was the three pack lrod, zook, cynder ... Woohoo! Im missing the easiest three pack which is chop, bash and eruptor i think... Im thinking about it because I may buy them separate if I can get a hold of a blue BASH... :D So any Skylander news worth a trip and in this case a great one.

BTW Is this an april fools joke I think the page is inverted and im typing from right to left O_O

I am told that Toys "R" Us is only going to have 12 blue bash on hand for tomorrow. Still haven't got the email blast that they said was going out tonight...with info.

Why all of a sudden is TRU going skylanders crazy I. Like two weeks. There was Wednesday and Sunday last week. Now this weekend has a whole buch of skylanders. I'm impressed with activison for keeping up with making figures.

I'll be going but not early. I'll leave 15 minutes before the store opens and hopefully i'll get there right when it's opening. I don't want to wait. There doesn't seem to be any hype around Blue Bash. I dont think as many people care at all. I dont have a regular bash so I might as well get a blue one. I am also hoping to get Lightning Rod (if I get lightning rod i'll be more excited than blue bash)

Blue Bash is in the Sunday advert tomorrow.. Look on the page with the other video games. It does not specifically state he will or will not be in stock at the store like LTH did when he came out. <shrug>

I am unsure why anyone outside of sealed collectors would want this thing. If I were a kid, I would surely want the regular or legendary bash instead of an unpainted block of plastic.

Blue bash sold out at my store in minutes. I pre ordered mine so I didnt go to get one but what the hell? I didnt think so many people would want this? Im glad only 3 characters are left Im getting sick of this crap. After being first in lime to get DP, zook, l rod amd ignitor just watching the people pile up by the hundreds to grab these things is a joke. Giants will be even worse.

The local TRU had exactly 18 of the Blue Bash figures. I got there about an hour and a half before opening, and I was about ninth in line. Like the Dragon's Peak release last week, they handed out tickets for each of the figures. There was about 30 people there by 10 am; most stayed because they had a bunch of figures in stock too, mostly Chop-Chop, Flameslinger, Cynder, Drill Sergeant, and Whirlwind.

The manager that was handing out the tickets also noted that this was their only shipment of these Blue Bashes until June. Not sure if that just applies to this TRU, though.

I'm happy I have one, although it's disappointing that it doesn't appear blue in the game.

I called my TRU last night and the employee told me they only had 6 of the blue Bashes. I waited for about an hour and a half before they opened and managed to grab one. So excited. I can't believe how limited the stock was for them, though. From the way it sounds, nearly every TRU was like this.

Oh, and my TRU also offered 10 rainchecks to the people who arrived closer to ten and didn't get a Bash.

My store got 24 of them and i was 13th in line and there is this guy in the front of the line with 9 kids with him and he is bragging to all of us that he is buying 10 and that he sells on ebay and actually had the nerve to pass out a card with his ebay name on it, so we all went to the store manager and complained. Well about 15 minutes later the store manager came out and said that he would only sell one per person over the age of 18. Well this dude freaked out and said that they can't do that and the store manager told him that they can put a limit on anything and if he didn't like it he could go to another store, well needless to say, he shut his mouth and they only gave him one ticket, so YES i did get one, I was number 15, but they did hand out rainchecks to everyone else and they told them no more until June, which to me is crazy, how is it that it is going to take 2 months to get more in. Very happy but why would TRU even advertise them in the paper when they got such a little shipment in?

My TRU told me "We aren't expecting any good shipments until June" as well. That's odd considering the fact that Wave 5 is supposedly coming out this month. Additionally, the employee said that Activision seems to be having trouble keeping up with the demand for the figures, which is something I'm sure all of us have seen.

That is a funny story. I know he was extremely upset, but what could he do...complain? "It's not fair. You won't let me game the system so I can sell them on eBay for a profit. TRU SUCKS!!!"

I got one too =)! My store had 12 but told us that they only had 10...sounds suspicious.

Not sure how many my store got, but it seemed to be in the neighborhood of 10-12. The boxes they were pulling them out of at the register looked pretty tiny, only big enough to hold 3 or so. I got ticket #8 at my store, and there only seemed to be a couple left.

So does this mean there will be no Skylanders at TRU or just no new ones. I hope this is not true for other stores cuz I would eventually have a meltdown for not having Lightning Rod and buy him for som ridiculous price on eBay if I'm allowed to.

I am still curious why people are "so excited" to get this. What are you doing with it? It's just plain old regular Bash in game, except instead of having Bash on your portal, you have a blue blob of plastic. Are you just keeping it unopened? Tucking it into bed with you next to your pillow? Reading it stories?

All of the above. In addition, I'd like to note that I intend to take the Blue Bash unopened with me as a good luck charm for when I take finals at my university as well as he will ride shotgun in my passenger's seat. I will even make sure he's buckled in. After all, that is the law.

Yes I did and yes I got 1. They got what looked like 6 in, but two employees claimed one each for themselves (which I'm totally cool with, it should be an employee perk to get ONE).

I also finally got my 1st and 2nd pack of Lightning Rod, Cynder and Zook (each upgrade path). I plan to have 2 of every character. However I got a Cynder earlier, so that put me up to 3 of her.

I got there first at right around 9 and a couple Skylander dad's showed up after to stand in line. It was cool talking with other older dudes about the game, since there's a "kid game" stigmata attached to it.

As I was checking out though all the Skylander Moms showed up and started asking and then dressing down the poor employees, lol. The crappy part was, that there were 6 of us in line and only the first 4 of us got him. The other two people did not.

Also my buddy who works there said expect more Dragon's Peak late next week. Hes pretty reliable and tipped me off about the first Dragon's Peak, and the Blue Bash.

Excited to use? Hardly honestly. Exciting to collect and have. Yup. I come a pokemon background so Skylanders is right up my ally.

I can't confirm if he comes with all that as I'm not sure if I'm going to open mine or not.

I like translucent plastic

Yeah, he comes at Level 5 with 2100 coins. You can actually still use it through the packaging which is cool.
