Just Got an email from toys r us saying, be there tomorrow at 9am when we open to get legendary trigger happy. "hot item" supplies are limited. Lol, I doubt that.

Is this for toy's R Us rewards members?

The tru I work at are over loaded with them, and want them gone lol. Some store got few, while many got over loaded with them.

If they actually had them in stock the days they advertised them then they could have gotten rid of the entire stock quickly. I remember my local TRU did not have them on the first day they advertised LTH in their weekly ad. I think they arrived later that week.

Anyone watching for these characters on ebay knows that they are overrun with them. About a week or so ago, every other character ending was a Legendary TH. The best part, is many of them weren't even selling for $15, and you had the "get rich quick" clowns with theirs posted at starting prices of $40. Haha! Now they are trying to bundle them with other characters just to get rid of them. Too bad the Legendary 3 pack is as readily available. Had to over pay for that one....

This is too funny! I got the exact same TRU e mail, mere moments after replying to this thread. "QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED!". Ha!

They're probably just creating some fake hype for it to try to get people in to buy it given that they have so many. Although, I'd say it might be a good investment to pick an extra one up and store it somewhere for a few years. Ya never know what the market for these things could be then.

LTH isn't and never will be worth anything. Between the two stores locally (20 minutes from each other) there's at LEAST 300 figures. If there's that many AFTER scalpers and fans of the game, the market is overflowing with them and there's no demand. And it's not like there will be a demand in the future because people DO have them and people DO have more than one and people ARE expecting them to be worth something. Therefore, they won't be.

It's only things that people DONT expect to be worth anything that actually become valuable.

I've been to 4 TRU in the metro Atlanta area and EVERY store had tons of LTH figures. On 3/21 at the TRU nearest to me, that was the consolation for it not having any of the Wave 4 figures. LTH weren't on the shelf, but I think the asst manager saw that people were so disappointed that he started handing out tickets to buy LTH. I will go to this "event" but only to see if they have any Wave 4. TRU really missed this one up. They over-supplied the exclusive, thinking it would be a winner, but went lax on Wave 4. At least, that's what seems to have happened here.

You probably looked too late. We got them in Canada at least a week before the USA. My local TRU had literally 40-50 of them on the shelf.

They really need to stop with the legendary gimmick. It was cute the first time but unless they're three-packing it, it's not going to shift many copies.

They only have four Legendaries, Hexin - the three-pack, and Trigger Happy.

Did anyone from the east coast dropped by their TRU? I'm still debating on going there because I really do not want the LTH but I was hoping to find the new triple pack.

Hahaha! Indeed! And it was a complete fail. I just looked at that Rewards email and laughed. I've called the TRU by me three times this week and all they've ever had is L-THs.

I stopped by TrU this morning when they opened, picked up the Lrod triple pack, no DP but they had about 300 L. Trigger happys. So I drove to another TrU and they had no wave 4 stuff but the lady was opening boxes of skylanders and I asked her what they were, ALL L. Trigger happys, she had almost a pallet full and the shelves already had about 100 of them up.

I know, but they need to nip it in the bud and not overuse it.

My local TRU had over a hundred of the LTH this morning, TRU should give them away with other purchases, that would clear them out.

Did you get an email from them? My TRU did not get zook or lightning rod too while my walmart got them the weekend of the 21st. The distribution is really terrible now and it is impossible to know which retailer is going to get a certain figure.
