So I need to know who I should get first, Zook or Lightning Rod. Can somebody tell me what abilities Zook gets for the Bazooka path and the damage and for Lightning Rod the Zapper Clouds path and how those work. And I need votes, whoever gets more I will get first. The reason I can't get both is because I only have 14$ left (I spent most of it yesterday)

I have recommendations listed in order of what I would do in your situation...

1) Get whichever one you can find first.

2) Continue to save money (just in case option 1 doesn't work out and you can't find either for awhile)...then you might be able to get the 3 pack.

3) Get Zook until you know for sure Lightning Rod's Challenge issue has been fixed.

I was kinda hoping to find a 3 pack at TRU but none. If I do I will try to sell Cynder to my friend who needs an undead lander. And what exactly is wrong w/ Lightning Rods challenge? Is it on the Wii 'cause I have the Wii. I have read the topics but not recently.

LR's Heroic Challenge is glitched on other systems (360/PS3), but not on Wii. If your friend has the Wii version also or you don't ever plan on bringing your Skylanders to play at their place, then just ignore my 3rd recommendation altogether.

i was able to complet lr's heroic challenge no problem on the 360 with trigger.

Zooks damage is pretty good, but he's still outclassed by Stealth Elf.

Rod on the other hand is one tough cookie and one of the stronger Airlanders. Not sure the exact numbers but I know Rod wrecked things up on Kaos' lair.

Lightining Rod: Starting Powers
■Lightning Bolt (Primary Power): Throw a lightning bolt at enemies.

Zook:Starting Powers
■Bazooka Attack (Primary Power): Press and hold your primary power button to fire Bazooka Shells that explode into shrapnel. Hold down the button to extend the range.
■Foliage Barrier (Secondary Power): Grow a barricade made of plants to protect yourself.
Basic Upgrades ■Hardwood Shells (500): Bazooka Shells and shrapnel do increased damage.
■Fungal Bloom (700): Barrier is stronger and takes longer for enemies to destroy.
■Mortar Bomb (900): Launch a Mortar attack.

Get Zook and go artillery spec. He blows Lightning Rod away in damage plus he's cool...I mean come on it's Zook here.

Playing both right now (thanks to a good friend on this forum). As I upgrade them, I am liking LR more than Zook. With that said, they are both at level 7 and don't have all of their upgrades. My current experience is that LR's weapons have been more powerful, with the same number of upgrades. Does sound like a few others have more experience with these, just telling you what I've seen so far. Both are great though....

Wel here's a story. Last night I went to te Canton Walmart, before I went there I called tey said they had 2 Zooks and 2 Lightning Rod but they couldn't hold them. So we had to drive 40 minutes to get there. We [my brother and mom and I] get dropped off and my bro and I power-walk to the skylanders, but he goes to see if they have a 3DS game, so I get to the skylanders, they had 1 Zook and 1 Lightning rod, so I grabed them but a woman with two kids came over. I asked how long they had the game, and she said about 2 weeks ago. They said they were searching for a good fire, air, life, and undead lander. So I gave her my Zook and L Rod, ignitor and hex. I said these guys are pretty good, and I didn't notice it but behind me was a guy unpacking more singles, the family said thank you and the employee said to me, "Sweetie, that was very kind of you to do that, here." and in the box were singles of ignitor, zook, L. Rod and a couple old ones, so I got another Zook and L Rod to keep. I feel good. Now zook is 6 and Rod is 5. I chose Artilleryman and the Typhoon Titan (cloud zpper) and I like them. So all I need now are Legendary 3 pack, blue bash, and warnado. Then my bro is gona get Camo and my mom Wham-shell.
