I have hears rumors of th Skylanders series being very childish and that I wouldnt like it if I was into the legend series, where Elijah Wood voiced Spyro. Is this true. Does anybody think i would like Skylanders if I liked all three legend games.
I have not perchased them yet, just so you know. But would I like em.
I like games that have both fun game-play and attention-grabbing story-lines.

I never played any Spyro games before Skylanders (granted I am 20 so i SHOULD have played Spyro way back when, but we always had Nintendos not Playstations)
But after playing Skylanders I bought the whole Legend Series and they're both great in their own ways, but I have to say Skylanders is a lot of fun because of the diversity you get from all the characters, and the online play as well as mini games and power ups to each Skylander.

Well, I can't say SKylanders is the same as LoS series, but I also can't say it's different.
But it is definately an enjoyable game

Well, TLoS and Skylanders is very different. In all honesty, Skylanders is more akin to the original Spyro games; goofy, nonsensical and hilarious. TLoS is kind of a gritty reboot for the series and although has some comedy parts, it's mostly grimdark/more serious in tone as compared to Skylanders which is more cartoony and lighthearted. (Even though it was originally planned as a even darker Spyro series!)
The game itself has a plot, although it's not like a hardcore storytelling on say.. Mass Effect level (or really, on New Beginning level). It was written by some guys at Pixar so it was certainly enjoyable. It's not any more childish than someone in their 20s or 30s watching cartoons. I think you'll probably like it.
