Expansion levels unlocked across saves? [CLOSED]

if i were to put the pirate seas piece on the portal near the beginning of one game, save that game, then start a new game...
would i need to put the pirate seas piece on the portal again in order to unlock it within that new game? or does it stay unlocked across all saves?

Yes, you need to unlock it again for each new save.
