I did a search and didn't see this mentioned so it might change a LOT of views about Wrecking Ball. Going down the tongue path gives you a secret "burp power up". Eat one item and it darkens your burp cloud, lets it go twice as far and for 40 damage. Eat two items (or three, can't remember at the moment) and it turns your burp cloud dark red, makes it go all the way across the screen, go THROUGH enemies, and do 60 damage on top of that. If you play Wrecking Ball smart he's a powerhouse this way, nailing everything for 60+ damage and constantly healing.

Just thought I'd mention this as a separate topic because it's such a boost for the lil' guy. Ol Wreck needs some love.

Isnt this upgrade for the spinner attack line? Im trying to remember what his paths are but im pretty sure his spinner path also upgrades his burps

yeah in pve sometimes you will shot a red cloud and deal 90 damage (!!!), but in pvp is unuseful

Hmmm, maybe after the Soul Gem upgrade when you eat enemies? I know you have to eat something first so I never noticed it until I reset him and sent him down the Tongue Path. Try eating two or 3 bad guys and then burping!

Hnnghh. That's cool. You know, I think I vaguely remember accidentally doing this at some point. I'll go try it again for fun.

I took the tongue path and mine does that too withe the red burp i mean

Yea but is the red burbs from the soul gem or a path? Cuz if its from the soul gem you would be able to burb red no matter what path u chose

I noticed it (on the tongue attack path) but didn't make the connection that eating something triggered it. I was thinking it was random, associated with his critical hit.

It definitely happens before the soul gem because I haven't bought that on the Tongue path and can still pitch the red belch. However what we want to know is if it happens with the soul gem on the Forcefield path. I didn't check before I reset Wreck :/
