Just a thought. I have all of the currently released Skylanders, and have access to a webcam.

Only if you have a silk smooth voice. I've watched far too many videos from teens with crackly whiny voices.

My voice is kinda deep. I dunno, I just really want to help build an official character breakdown section for the Skylanders part of the site. Any site admins who would approve of me doing so?

in other words:....go for it.

Here are some tips if you are making a video about skylanders:

1. Stop being biased about the figure you are reviewing - some people are just too biased and simply profess they're love for the figure and completely ruin the review. Keep in mind you are doing a review not simply babbling on about a certain skylander.

2. Actually provide information that is helpful to your audience - stop using "X figure is cool!","X figure rocks!"and "X figure awesome!" to describe a certain figure and not provide additional information why the figure is cool. Talking about attacks, skills, styles of play and other game worthy info is what I look for in a review. You can focus on the figure if you want and not the game but make sure you indicate that in your video topic.

3. Make sure you video is clear. I hate watching reviews where I have to try to figure out what he is talking about because the video is too blurry or too dark. Regardless of what device you are using to make the video, make sure the final video is clean and clear.

a) be relatively unbiased
b) do not show your face, ever
c) use a little bit of visual flair, don't just have the camera pointed at the screen the entire time and drone on, toss in some images or clips along the side
d) develop a sense of humor. youtube poop humor is acceptable as long as you study the GOOD poops. (did i really just say good poops?)

Based on the feedback I've gotten in this thread, I shall pursue SOMETHING. It may only be text/picstures instead of video, but if it does wind up as a bio/text thing, I promise no bias and very good attention to detail.
