i can say so myself that this new release is in fact more brilliant in color, also i looked at the back of my original and the manufactored number is W2121 and new one i got sunday is W2122

I'm going on a trip at the end of the year, with the first seven nights and the last four nights spent at my best friend's house. During the first week I'm giving him some Christmas gifts: his first Skylanders game (the PlayStation 3 version of SWAP Force, which came bundled with and for free), a LightCore and some of my spare Skylanders. When I return to visit him during the last four nights I'm giving him a Double Pack, a Tower of Time Adventure Pack and maybe some more of my spare toys. I hope he enjoys playing with all that!

I also just bought and a Mini Adventure Case (so I can bring some of my characters with me for multiplayer fun), and I also put a Double Pack, a Double Pack and on layby. All of these goodies (except for some of the loose Skylanders) were bought at two Target stores and, in the case of LC , at my local EB Games. /wallo'text

I'm not following I was just at Walmart and 3ds Swap Force was 74.99 that was one hell of a sale....where you at my kid would love it but already spent full price for the PS3 version.

Walmart at 8:00am Friday Nov 22 has all versions of Swap force for $37.00 and then the frito lay coupon for 10.00 off made it 27.00 my Walmart had them all tonight for 37.00 each in OHIO

Whoa...I now wish I competed in that contest for Pumpkin Fright Rider.

Pumpkin fright rider looks awesome and it's messed up that the bags never reached here in the first place. I think that promo was a bit messed up. People saying on sending for the codes well with the timing, etc It probably would have been too late to get them on my end. Might be why quickdraw was easier to obtain.

Must have been a glitch then it showed it was not in stock after I ordered it. That was a great deal I cant find it in any stores by me.

I love how this skylander looks, in my opinion its one of my fav's.

My latest acquisitions:

Picked up a nice chunk of Skylanders today. I went to TRU for a Dinorang and found a one day sale today: BOGO on all SSA and SG figures. So I looked through the piles hoping for a Legendary Bouncer, but found none. I didn't feel like wasting my free figure on a S1 Whirlwind, so I got a regular Ninjini instead.

Went to Target and price matched their $37 online sale in store. Used the coupon and got the normal 360 starter set with a free Slobbertooth for $27. For good measure, I also got a regular Lava Barf to compliment my Volcanic Lava Barf I already own. Overall, I feel very good about all the money I saved today on Skylanders.

Today we picked up regular LC Grim Creeper since we got our 3DS starter for so cheap. Now my son is wondering if our Legendary version is defective since the LC is very dim. Is this true for all LC Legendary Grim Creeper. Thinking of calling Activision for a replacement...

I think it is, CTFDad. My L-LC GC is about as bright as yours, and I have heard similar comments from other members here.

Legendary figures use a really dark blue, almost black looking. They matched that tone on his LC face, where is regular LC figure uses a much lighter blue. That's why it's so hard to see the light in it. Mine is that dim and all the ones I've played with on the portal at TRU are that dim as well. It was more just poor planning on their part to not use the lighter blue on his face.
