Read some of the previous posts about trying the chompy pod bit but still can't seem to get the enemy goal on this level. Any suggestions? I noticed that during the fight with occulus that the trees regenerate. Does this have something to do with the enemy goal? Or any of the elemental gates? Any help would be appreciated.

I had no problems, just try to kill all enemies.
(Don't kill lifeless enemies, olywhen their alive-eg Knights)

I don't believe that if you hit an enemy in the Real World, it'll count (like the knights or the potted plants which turn into the respective enemies)
There's also a handful of bad guys in the houses near the end. Make sure you get rid of them too.

I have killed ALL of the aforementioned enemies and STILL can't get the enemy goal. What is the Chompy Pod secret? And which one can you leave alive to kill just the chompies on this level. They all seem to be in a path where you need to go.

Any chompie plant will do; let them live a bit longer so they can spit out more enemies.

Try killing the knights and pots that shift between the worlds. Also check all the houses to make sure you successfully disposed of all the enemies. Also if you kill a lifeless knight restart it. Remember don't let that 1 little chompy live.

Don't forget about the trees in the real world. Gotta kill them.
And the trees will keep re-spawning in the final stage of the level if you hold off on killing Occulus (sp?).

I will try and find a chompy pod that is NOT directly in the path of where I need to go. I have cleared all the houses, killed all knights and little red guys(never can remember what they're called) in the ghost world and killed all trees(except the respawning ones vs Occulus) in the real world so the chompy secret HAS to be the answer. Wish me luck!

I got this goal with no problems just be being systematic (covering all possible areas in both real and ghost mode) and taking my time.
I think the "taking my time" bit is the key; I don't kill chompie plants straight away but let them spawn a fair few chompies first. My understanding of the chompie plant "secret" is not that there is a plant in a secret location that you are missing but the "secret" that letting it spawn many chompies counts towards the enemy goal total without limit.
