Hey, all. I recieved in the mail today my Volcanic Vault which I purchased from a seller on Amazon.com. The vault itself was completely sealed in the little plastic bag that it originally comes in, but it didn't come in it's box. What I'm wondering is this; was there anything else in the Volcanic Vault box besides the physical vault, like a sticker sheet, trading card, or code card? Thanks!

Well.... I payed about $65 (including shipping and tax). I don't buy things from ebay, and this was the cheapest I could find it anywhere else. For a completionist like me, it was worth it.

Actually it wasn't. You could have just buyed the starter pack from best buy and they would have given you volcanic vault for free.

And Volcanic vault is just another copy of aquaduct. He could have just payed $5 more to get the starter pack too.

Maybe they didn't want to buy a whole new $70 starter pack that they likely wouldn't have used besides the VV, perhaps?

well at least one well known person on here has been known to have returned the started pack for a refund but kept the volcanic vault for himself

Honestly, I didn't know what this thing was worth and this was the cheapest that I found. I was told by a few GameStops, that I can't sell the game back (which is what I was going to do with the 3DS version for Dark Spyro), so I figured that I couldn't return it either. I also thought that the vault was packaged INSIDE the game box at BestBuy (which often happens with some video game promotions), so I couldn;t return it if I had opened the box.

But instead of explaining it to me, you people feel that it's okay to insult someone who simply didn't know and made a mistake. Real mature, people. Real mature.

Before I do make the same mistake AGAIN, what is Dark Spyro worth? $20-$30 about right?

Are you actually serious. You can buy the 3ds starter pack for $39.99.

Depending on where you live the 3Ds starter pack is anywhere from $39.99-$49.99 right now!
I would go that route instead of buying a single Dark Spyro from e-bay! (Looks like you do not have these 3 characters)
Then you will get Ignitor and Dark Spyro....and Stealth elf!!! Plus 3Ds game and portal (that you could keep or sell)

That is the best deal around $15.00 per figure.

Ah thats true. Smart thinking. I have no idea what I would do with the 3DS Portal or game however. GameStop doesn't buy it back to my knowledge. I have a 3DS so maybe I'll just keep the game anyway lol. Thanks guys.

Just shop around I am sure you can find a good price, or trade in some old games to get the 3Ds version!

Well as you can all see by my signiture, I purchased the 3DS version this morning! Got it for $40 at Toys R Us. It was $30 off and I had a gift card for my birthday, so why not, right? Thanks a lot for the help!

PS: They had like a dozen or so Legendary Packs too. I was shocked lol.

i payed 45 for the vault off ebay because it is a best buy exclusive, and since i live in Canada Best Buy Suck's so they dont have anything besides people on commision that dont know crap all about a game for children!!

The 3DS and PC/Mac versions of Skylanders is kinda rare as is tho.

To answer the OP, the Volc Vaults given in UK were not packaged inside the starter kits so actually did come in a little cardboard box.

So, don't feel bed that you didn't get a box but also don't think that you were completely crazy, either.
