i reinstalled my skylanders on the pc and my save games are gone... is there any way to recover them? or is there a way to edit a save game? i had gotten to the part with the money glitch on the beach. (also ive already beat this game on the 360, just started playing it on the PC). any help anyone can give me to get back to where i was at would be greatly appreciated. (btw i am not wanting to cheat, just get to the level i was at without spending the hours it took (especially not being able to skip the dialogue!) Chapter 7 is where i was.

[edit] if you are near this chapter is there a way you could send me your game save? or if you know where the save game is saved, i do have a backup of my hard drive i might have the save file(s)

If you have a backup of your drive, you should be okay (and not have to undelete files).

That said, I don't have the PC version so don't know the save game name/location for you.

I Skylanders stores its save games in AppData like a lot of otehr games do, but I don't know for sure.

The AppData folder is found in your User folder but it's a hidden file so you'll need hidden files enabled to be able to see it.

EDIT: I can confirm that the Skylanders save game is located in [UserName]/AppData/Local/Spyro

Reinstalling it might removed the files of your save.

Try getting back up were you left and your problem is done.

incase you need to do it again.

Copy your save file data in a spare folder and replace the data in the "Skylanders spyro's adventures" folder and keep the back up so you have you saves in touch and never lost again

my save game from a week ago is back!
