So far, I have beaten this game twice, and both times, I lost my files for some reason

Basically, I beat Gnasty Gnorc - game's fine
Get 100% - Game's Fine
Finish Gnasty's Loot - game's fine
Credits go again - game's fine
Arrive back in Artisans - No file, can't save, but still 100%

Anyone know why this could happen?

Have you got any scratch marks on your disc?

If you play on the ps3 you can buy it on the ps3 store, it's the same thing... but with no problems.

As long as you are living in America you can, but not for the UK.

If it's not the game, then it might be the memory card. I can't really think of what else it would be. Do you have another card to try it with?

Yep. Things like that only happen to me when my PSone is left there for months (and when it's switched off)

Strange, do you have another console to play Spyro 1 on? Like a PS2?

That's not right.....it has to be something wrong with the memory card.

Normally PS1 memory cards work fine on a PS2 console. I've got about 15 PS1 memory cards and all of them work on my PS2. So it's definitely something to do with your memory card, unless all of this is a big lie?

if the PS1 memory card is old that wont help, mine sometimes glitches out and forgets to save, when it does it goes back to magic crafters, i always save three times at a dragon portal when i want to save to make sure, i've completed this game many many times and it usually is okay if i triple save smilie

I have the same problem too but maybe there's something wrong with one of my memory cards. Luckily, my other memory card still has all the files of the first three Spyro games. Hmm... I might have dropped my second memory card by accident. smilie

I've dropped my memory cards so many times and they still work perfectly fine. LOL I got one memory card that when I shake it I hear something moving around inside, it still works though. *shrugs*

Then there might be something wrong with the game or the PlayStation 2.

I'd recommend getting a new ps1 memory card from amazon. If that doesn't work, buy a new ps2 from amazon. It's GOT to be one of those two.

To be honest, I once used that website to download a single for free 'cause it failed to enter the UK charts. That's a first for one of the most successful girl groups in UK history. The single, "Freedom", by the Sugababes is gonna be released as a proper CD but the record label change its mind and now, it's a free downloadable single.

I swear my sister ordered a book from that website, the book is supposed to help her with her university studies. I knew 'cause the cardboard box hasn't been disposed of yet.

This happened to someone else but with Spyro 3 after they completed the 1st round with the Sorceress. There's a video on YouTube just type Spyro 3 glitches and you should find it. Sorry that's happened, similar thing used to happen to me; I'd be fighting Ripto and get near to the end then I die and the battle restarts. I know it's not the same, but it's nearly as annoying smilie
