Since we've never come across any rules for any games that can be played with the beautiful included Stat Cards, we use them to play "Top Trumps".

For those not familiar with the game, it's quite simple. All the cards are dealt out to all the players. Players put these cards into a "deck" in front of them and draw only the first card into their "hand" and each player only looks at their own card.

The first player chooses an attribute from his card, let's say "Speed" and the number that goes with it, say "80".

If his card has the highest number in that stat, he collects all the other players cards and puts them at the bottom of his "deck".

If another player has a higher number in his stat then that player collects the cards.

Play continues until one player has collected all the cards.

If there is a tie for the highest stat, say another player also has "80" and these are the highest number, then the player with the next highest in that stat wins, let's say a third player with "70" for speed. If all players are tied (very common in a two player game) then the cards stay on the table and the next hand "winner" collects the whole pot.

Hmmm, it's interesting but not really the same thing. These are ideas for games made out of whole cloth. I was talking about games that could be played with the existing cards that already come with every Skylander.

Still, as an amateur game designer myself, the thread is very interesting. Thanks for linking it.
