When you defeated KAOS, who was your character and who were you're fallen soldiers?

I beat the game with: IGNITOR (10)

My only surviving skylander was my level 8 or 9 Bash. However, I just recently took him down using only Stealth Elf.

It was on my third attempt that I finally beat Kaos and I only used my level 10 Spyro (I kept blasting Kaos with fireballs from a distance and healed Spyro by running at the side of one of the summoned sharks).

I beat Kaos on my second try, which I only used Trigger Happy.

I beat Kaos on my first try. No i dea who I beat him with. He annihilated like..17 of my 22 Skylanders at the time. They were mostly lvls 1-5 I only had like 2 or 3 level 7-9 (i had no level 10s, thats for sure)

I beleve my Spyro was 9 or 10. He died at the lasers, and I switched between Whirlwind(7) and Trigger Happy(8). My only 4 at the time. (Don't think I used Gil at all actually)

Trigger was the one who dealt the final blow. Now when I'm playing a run through of the battle, I'll have Drobot or Stealths with me.

Went through all my Skylanders the first time....Did not defeat him.

I used all My skylanders and none died all level 10
I won as spyro

Double trouble either level 4 or 5

Trigger happy level 8 *DIED*

Finished with Grill grunt level 10

Flameslinger (10) - Took a little longer to do with just one as I was trying to get a trophy at the same time. Platinum obtained!!

First time was with triggerhappy didn't switch anybody (achivement didn't pop up) then second was Gill grunt got it then and all of my skylanders now have faced him and beat them by themselves

I forgot to mention that it was my third or first try when I finally beat him the first time.

I beat kaos with Stealth Elf 1st time, Gill Grunt 2nd, and Cynder 3rd.

I beat Kaos with just one character, that was Spyro lvl 10 Fire breath path. Not exactly easy, since Death Spell + Chop Chop + Hex = near impossible to defeat.

Well... today I finish the game with a friend in my "Guest Game", in that battle my friend was using Trigger Happy, Spyro and Terrafin, and I was using Gill Grunt. After all we deal ¡¡¡THE FINAL BLOW!!! with Terrafin and Gill Grunt (Yeah, we lost Trigger Happy and Spyro, I just play with Gill Grunt and Sonic Boom was watching the final battle LOL). Now I will play in my own game to defeat Kaos ALONE, I think I will use Gill Grunt because I didn't die with him and I will try to get my first platinum xD

Haven't beat him yet even though I've tried 20 Gazillion times. Any tips?

You could try looking at YouTube tutorials/walkthroughs to see how other people beat him.

I was just about to battle Kaos but my portal ran out of battery.

My daughter killed off everyone...finished with what she considers her most useless character...wrecking ball...lol!

I used Drobot level 10 and a few thing that I got with the adventure pack to help me out just so I could get the Achievement I failed so many time just so I could get it

Old thread (I know), but I just tried this for the first time in 1p mode. A friend and I were talking about this. I beat him, but it wasn't easy. All of my current characters are level 10, for the record. I went through the main part of the level with Cynder, but lost her shortly after starting the Kaos battle. The fire element of Hydra got her, and is wicked strong. After Cynder, I used:
Spyro
Sonic Boom
Bash (sucked)
Drobot (great attack, but couldn't keep him from getting hit by the lasers)
Trigger Happy (my fav won it for me!)

This was fun, considering I hadn't tried in solo before now. The trick is to stay after Kaos when he lands. The enemies aren't that bad honestly. Also seems like a good idea to stay out of the middle of the screen when the fire element of Hydra is coming. Once you know which is which, it isn't that bad.

I beat him with gill grunt. got the achievement for only using one skylander.

The first time I played the level I beat it with zap. And only zap, I have a ps3 where you get thropies and got 100 percent completed on the ps3. Since the first time I beat it I beat it again with just sonic boom, and just sunburn.and zap was a level one when I beat it with him. The others a 10.

Fallen:

I failed a load of times with my starters at level 10... so I waited until I had Terrafin and Drobot at level 10 to help out... turns out I didn't need them as Terrafin died quite quickly so I switched to Trigger Happy (to preserve Drobot for the end part) but he stayed alive right until the end... Go Triggs!

Since then I've done it a few times but got me the trophy for killing him without switching on the second time I beat him alone with her (the first time my portal batteries died and apparently that counts as switching even though I only used her).

First time I beat Kaos, it was with Gill Grunt using the Water Weaver path. Spyro using the Blitz Spyro path and Trigger Happy using Golden Frenzy path fell during that battle and I barely survived.

Second time around, I beat Kaos with Gill Grunt using Water Weaver alone.

Third time I battled Kaos, I destroyed him and his minions using Trigger Happy with the Golden Money Bags path. Kaos and co. didn't stand a chance against Heads of Tails. Trigger Happy owned them bad.

The first run was a disaster! We went through 12 bodies trying ot take him down (which wasn't expected since the rest of the game was so easy). We started off with Stealth Elf and Flame Slinger and I think the final hit on him was with Bash.

I tried him again and got him down to almost nothing with just Stealth Elf (was trying for the PS3 trophy), only to get caught by a stupid flame spell bubble-thing. Finished him off with Flame Slinger just because I couldn't let him win

My daughter and I were playing together and surprisingly the victors were a level 4 Dino-Rang and a level 2 Stealth Elf. My level 10 Drobot was absolutely destroying early on, but my daughter positioned him right in the middle and Kaos spawned on top of him and killed him. My two level 10 Spyros and her level 10 Trigger Happy fell soon after and it took about 10 more of our low-level figures to finish it off.

I didn't saw any skylanders and my brother and me spent all our money in the starter pack so couldn't get any more figures but then I replayed the game when I got skylanders for christmas
