So I was reading a while ago a topic about skylander veriations, some about Dino-Rang and how he was supposed to have silver boomerangs, and got gold when he was released, and how some Sonic booms have a completely silver helmet and others have part of it in black/grey. Which also wasnt shown before release, and the biggest difference would def. be Slam Bam, how he was supposed to be a solid blue color and was release transparent.

I'm curious now if they changed cynder, because in her "official" picture it looks like she has cleavage(no flamers!) BUT! when the toy came out it looked comepletely different! No cleavage no boobs, no nothing. Which i like btw lol. Here's some pics, which arent very good for comparison because one is front view nad the other is side view, but you can DEF. tell they changed SOMETHING. O-o

Looks like there were some changes to me. lol I feel like they changed it because of the complaints, which is ok in my book. =3

What i'm wondering now is, which ones after this, if any, are also going to be changed?? Any thoughts? Which skylanders do you think will change? Are there other skylanders that are out that have been changed that i didnt mention?? Let me know! =)

It's just the position that the stock art was originally for Cynder. That and people like seeing things that aren't really there for sake of argument.

Reposting these again. The original Drill Sarge that was out at Walmart has a slightly darker color scheme and is a bit more shiny compared to the new one in the 3 pack (And probably single pack too). The base is also painted.



So far everyone claiming that they have something different hasn't provided pics yet..soo...

oh yea look at that! i think i like the lighter color better lol stands out alot more.

i remember hearing something about double trouble, someone having his green orb thingy transparent, but he didnt provide pics, theresalso thesilver faced Ignitor, which is a factory defect but still cool!

then of course the silver and gold rare skylanders, and soon we'll have the transparent ones activison mentioned. but there rly arnt any pics of those out yet besides what they provided.

They made her eyes derped up, too.

Lol i thought her eyes were fine, she doesnt look derpy to me, she def. doesn't look as cool as her ORIGINAL black and purple version(the 2 games before dawn of the dragon) but she's def. still cool!

I think I like the original wave Drill Sergeant more. I'm not a fan of the yellow gold.

Personally, I believe when they make the figures, they make them to look good from a profile view and not necessarily head-on.

Yeah, I'm liking the "exclusive" Drill Sergeant's paint job better. Looks more metallic.

Actually Cynder still has the "boobs", but they're only really obvious from that one angle.

In regards to Double Trouble having transparency in his orb, I can confirm that. I have one similar.



It's a little hard to tell in this picture, but with the magic of light sources, I can make it a bit more clear, if you will.



This was taken in my room without the flash, with the lights off and the door shut. You can see that the rest of the figure doesn't have any light reflected off of it, (forgive me if my terms are wrong. I didn't study this stuff) but the green orb has light going through it, showing the transparency.

By the way, the base is smaller than other magics.

Her mold looks unchanged compared to get stock photo (boobs and all) but her eyes are more spacy.
One thing I noticed was her wings are a very soft plastic, much softer than any of the plastic on my wave 1/2 Skylanders. Does the wave 3 Whirlwind have soft wings too? They're kinda fun to play with.

I noticed my dark spyro's wings are softer then my normal spyro's, maybe it's one of those things where it's different for alot of people? O-o

DinoHex: and sweet!! i think i like the translucent orb Double Trouble has lol,

and greenlanter; it's lame he has a smaller base, but! that adds to my list of things they changed! lol i bet it was bigger in the stock photo!

Okaps; I have a wave 3 WW coming in teh mail right now so when i get her i'll let you know how sturdy her wings are, but i never had a wave 1 WW so i dont know the difference lol, cynder's wings being too soft wont make them break or anything will it?? i'd hate for that to happen since my 2 year old plays with these too and thats why i love the skylander's durabilities. =3
