i noticed when i attacked sheep, good guys, things and every single living organism, that the skyanders laughed. they laugh at their misery.

This is a good natured game. You are the sadist for attacking the poor little good-guys. Since it was YOUR choice to attack them, YOUR team of Skylanders are saddists, not the Skylanders in general.

no not really. i thought about it. you had a problem with it, so i changed it to avoid conflicts. besides, there is an edit button, so its ok.

I noticed that also, pretty funny and a bit disturbing when you think about it. Then again we were all probably chuckling a little bit while doing it also.

Also I saw nothing wrong with her first post, and I don't think the "children" are going to give two flying hoots about what one person says, they're not as innocent as people are making them out to be.

What about Ghost Roaster? Eon himself had to specifically intervene to stop him from eating good spirits. He may only devour evil ones now, but it's by orders and not free will that he does it. Without those orders, he'd probably eat the soul of a cute puppy and relish every second of it.

if you mean my first post, who i edited not so long ago, because DA CHILDREN ARE GOING TO BECOME EEEEVIIIILLL AND DAMAGED, then myeaah...but he is probably going to get all pissy about it and i really am too lazy to get atrial fibrillation right before i go to sleep

Hey, it's better they kill enemies gleefully, laughing as they go, than in the somber, bloody, machine gun-ridden pseudo-reality of Call of Duty. Even if the characters are a wee bit sadistic, only Trigger Happy is packing heat, and that's really just coins. It's a violent world, and the kiddos are going to experience that aspect of it one way or another.

I think it's more of attacking in a joking sense. Like slapstick humor. Plus, they know you attack NPCs in all sorts of game. In fact, on the first level Hugo says something along the lines of "You can hit me, but it doesn't hurt!".

I played as Zap and was messing with sheep and he kept on going "HAA HAAAA".
And Spyro was chuckling while "defeating" some monsters.

i noticed that my Skylanders laughed whenever i attacked something. i actually thought it was funny, and would let out a light chuckle myself. its actually fun to attack th good characters, and i usually consider i target practice, especially after upgrades. the characters you attack only say "ow." anyway. i mean, its not like you can actually hurt them or kill them. and the sheep usually have a funny result to being attacked, like when i was playing Trigger Happy, i threw a pot of gold at one and it flattened the sheep. i honestly laughed at that. and seconds later, the sheep is fine. and what's wrong with attacking the sheep? you attacked sheep in the classic Spyro games to get butterflies for Sparx.

I don't think anyone really cares about their favorite characters laughing while killing evil monsters. In real life, I'd probably get creeped out and stay away from such a person. But this is a damn videogame. Kids (or at least the ones I know) are damn smart enough to tell the difference between fiction and real life.

I thought some laughed for the same reasons the hero does in several movies. A "success!" type of thing. Whilst Trigger Happy Probably laughs since gremlins were known to be like that.

I think it's much better to have a little ho ho ha!!! They could have made them say much worse things.

When I was at a store one day I saw a mother looking at the Skylanders starter pack, she was talking with her friend...
She said "oh I do not know about this game, this little guy has guns in his hands".....I spoke up and said it only shoots coins. "oh" she said....
Did not stick around to see if she bought it ....but people perceptions can be off sometimes.
