Spyro in next Skylanders? [CLOSED]

I personally think they will unfortunately drop Spyro in the next Skylanders game, and they might put a different well known character in it.......My thoughts: Skylanders 2: Crash's Quest smilie

Activision was planning a new Crash Bandicoot game if I'm not mistaken. Hmm....

Spyro is such an iconic character I don't think they'd drop him. Fans of not only the series are enjoying this game, but those who haven't been part of the Spyro series are also probably trying it out.

I think the opposite think he will still be there, might even be more friends in sequel....Hunter?

I know Activision will make another Spyro game, I just dont think he'll be in the next Skylanders game

I'm pretty sure that Spyro will reappear. It's like taking Mario out of the next Super Smash Bros, it doesn't really work that well to replace a character most people like.

I think that Spyro might be in the next one, but not in the Starter Pack. He will probably be some kind of limited edition character.

He'll be in it, but I doubt he's in the title. Skylanders is a franchise of its own, and doesn't need Spyro's star power to move figures anymore. Really though, they have the rights to the character, he sold a lot of copies of the first one, and there's no way they'd just drop him for no reason. We'll see how much, if any, his role is reduced though.

They will put him there, he is the main mascot. Even though the game isn't exactly centred around him...

I wont be a happy camper if they put crash bandicoot in the sequel though.

One would hope that ALL of the current figures work with a new game.

One would also hope that they add a whole new host of characters.

Personally I would like to see them expand on the portals idea and bring in characters from ALL of the Blizzard/Activision IPs. Make the sequel a journey through multiple dimensions, trying to solve whatever new problem is threatening all of the Blizzard/Activision realities.

If you read the back of any of the figures box in tiny print there is a small text that says something like...

Additional peripherals may be requried for future sequels.

A nice hint of using Spyro for the next game. We'll see.
