What's with this Stealth Elf? (a badly-painted Skylanders topic) [CLOSED]

So I was trawling Amazon.co.uk because I'm getting a little more than fed up with having none of Wave 2 for sale where I am (a friend informed me that shops won't get the new stock in until they sell their current stuff, which pretty much screws me over), and I saw this there:

Just... WHAT.

That is the creepiest thing I think I've ever seen.

Anyone else seen anything bad like this around on the Internet, or maybe you've got an abysmal figure yourself? Please post some pics!

I think it's either a bootleg or a second hand figure that the previous owner painted eyes on.

I was looking through this the other day, and noticed it. I couldn't put my finger on it though... Probably a fake.

Eh, this looks like it could be a prototype or bootleg. Or just fan painted like others have said.

It just seemed really odd to me that Amazon used it as their official listing picture over actually just getting an image of the figure in the box.

activision sends out promo pictures for use on web pages etc.... amazon just used what they got... this can mean one or two thing... the picture of stealth elf was how it should have been. but later this was changed because of some sort of error, the eye was missing in production or they just wanted to save money and dropped the eyes... or just a change in design.

I know what this is but it is VERY rare collectors would pay loads for it, it was the original stealth elf but activision denied this model so it's very hard to find and that's why collectors would pay LOADS so if this is a low price BUY IT!!! smilie
