Sparx Gem Finder trouble, help! [CLOSED]

Sparx's gem finder wont work! Say the total is 600 gems.. he just stops at a random number was if there are no more gems in the level... help!!!!?

Which level is it?
Have you checked inside the challenge portals as well?

I think, and its in Lost Fleet and that night place with the fireflies.

I'm having a problem as well. I'm stuck at 99% on a BUNCH of levels with all eggs found and only a few gems (2-5) missing. One of these levels is Midday garden home, which has no challenge/sub-portals. I try using the finder and it simply doesn't do anything. I verified that it works by entering a new level.
