Anyone else find it uncomfortably hilarious that Sonic Boom's method of combat essentially boils down to the use of child soldiers?

Not really. What else was she going to do with those poor kids? I suspect that after the first twenty or so times it happened, they wanted revenge on the jerk who did it to them as much as she did.

The thing that really puzzles me, is that the babies come out her MOUTH. She pukes babies!

Teach them to run away for those few moments they're alive? Teach them how to hide? Teach them not to talk to strangers? Not lay the eggs at all? |

Sunburn never had to worry about fatherhood again, because every minute they cease to exist

CAV, you ignored my second part: I suspect that after the first twenty or so times it happened, they wanted revenge on the jerk who did it to them as much as she did.

Reminds me of that game where you fight a boss who sends her loved children to get killed
*And then you find out they are not hers and her true children she killed herself in cold blood for a dark god...nice* |

Didn't really ignore it. Just didn't want to get too technically. But if you want me to.......... Seeing how the babies are only infants when they hatch, shouldn't they technically not be able to completely comprehend the feelings of anger and revenge? Babies are certainly smarter than many people think. But to expect newborns to feel anger and jealousy right when they escape the egg is pushing the envelope. Also, this doesn't excuse the fact that they're pretty much useless to me. |

In the real world, babies are capable of anger and fear long before they learn how to laugh or smile, and infant birds just a few days old will push their siblings out of the nest on purpose or sometimes even peck them to death. So, no, it's not asking too much to think that baby griffins could be taught to fight, especially with the magic angle being factored in. If they can remember all these fighting moves, then they can absolutely remember who they're mad at most.
Now that's a good point. |

I still find it odd that they'd be able to remember their life before being hatched again.....and again.......and again. I doubt they could remember that well.

Baby animals usually come into the world with an incredible amount of smarts: if you don't learn quickly, you die. Sonic Boom's babies were just about to hatch when the curse was put on them, so they've got the brains that would ensure their survival already, even when they're in the eggs. It's not too much of a stretch for me. I mean, really, if they can hatch endlessly, why not fight, too? Magic makes a lot of things plausible.

I guess so, but I still do find it weird that they actually remember after they hatch out again. Yes, I know it is magic, but still.

Personally, I love the babies. Once you get Sonic Boom's soul gem upgrade their little roars are rather helpful. Before that though, I like to use them to hit the enemies I can't reach myself.
