I've searched the internet the last couple days (waiting for my login to be confirmed on this site) about what exactly the Luck stat does for your character and could not find any information. Sorry if this has already been answered on here.

My girlfriend and I have about 20 figures but not the game lol. So we haven't played it yet. Will be getting the game soon though.

My guess is luck goes for
how often crits go off
how much money you find in pot and enemies

I know in the free online game you can play Luck helps with some of the minigames (ledges fall over more easilly, get a lucky shot, etc).

Don't know if it actually does anything in the console version as its not even a stat that shows up on your character sheet.

Some Final Fantasy games have a luck stat and what it usually does is what Gambitraven said. In Spyro: Skylanders Universe which is the online game, luck is helpful in the Castle Assault mini game because a character with higher luck can destroy a block that the ball touches completely. (this randomly happens and the game notifies you with a sound and the word "Luck" above the block that was destroyed.) Sorry if this doesn't make any sense.

^ That's good to know! In the console game it does absolutely nothing. I didn't know it had an online use. Any idea what the other three stats affect online?

Attack, Defense, and maybe agility for the Sky Defense game. There is a sheep herding game on the "Mainland" that agility might take effect on but I'm not 100% sure. If you need some advice on the sheep game check my post here //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=43666 (6th post down).

Luck is how fast you recover from a stun attack.
