Got Pirate Seas yesterday and I don't know, what does the Hidden Treasure figurine do... :/ Any help?

It makes a hidden treasure appear on any level, including the main Ruins area. There are three circles that surround the treasure icon on the screen, indicating how close you are to the treasure. I don't remember how much money it gives, somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500.

It can be made to respawn an infinite number of times in the Ruins if you talk to the right people. A fairly quick way to get money, but not really more so than just playing Kaos' Lair over and over.

I might also add that this glitch is only available in the Wii. Like Yaggleberry said, Kaos' Lair is still better since your Wii is likely to crash because of the overload of money. Seriously.

Ahh, didn't know that was a Wii exclusive. How much money do you have to acquire to crash the Wii? We got bored with it before it ever crashed...

I suppose it makes up for the fact that the campfire money glitch seems to work on everything except for the Wii!

The chest spawns a measly 250-300 gold. Abilities cost upwards of 3800, I don't see how this would cause the Wii to crash at all.

On characters I don't enjoy playing much I'll use this cheat to get some of their abilities quicker and I've never had a problem with the Wii. I don't see why you'd collect anything above 10k anyway because theres nothing to spend those gems on once you train all your abilities.

the dragon treasure chest will give you 6 extra treasure chest on each level. you gotta have it on the portal all the time, until you find them all. the dragon treasure chest also may stop function after you have found one or more treasure. then you will have to either swap skylanders or restart the level...
