Im asking, as Im getting fed up with people ripping other people off on eBay.

They buy one character, and then sell it on for MORE than what it is retail. Like Ignitor, at the moment he can be bought with the 3DS game, yet, people are cashing in on him, and selling him eBay for around the price of the game itself, same with Dark Spyro.

Now, I want Ignitor, but I dont want the 3DS game, but I dont want to pay the price of the game for 1 Skylander.

Ignitor is supposed to be released as a single character later. But not Dark Spyro, he will remain an exclusive character.

I guessed that about Dark Spyro, and TBH, Im not interested in Dark Spyro. Im just fed up with people selling Ignitor for MORE than the game almost

Thats true. Well, all those people cashing in on him, are claiming he is a 3DS Exclusive. I offered around retail for him on a couple of the auctions, saying that he will be released soon as a single character, and yet, I get declined.

I hate money grabbing people. I put stuff on ebay, and sell for retail, or what I paid for the item, sometimes less, yet there are people out there, who just wanna make money.

This game is meant for kids (although with a massive adult following) how are kids supposed to afford 35£ for 1 character.

i dont think the 3ds pack is a bad deal at all... you get 3 figurines and a portal, all can be used on the ps3/x360/wii/pc/mac.. and if you know where to look you can grab the pc version of skylanders for free from the net. then your only left with the 3ds game.. but if your still interested in skylanders, a couple of years later you can also grab a cheap used 3ds from auction sites etc... if your gonna be anal about it and only want one figurine, then you will just have to wait for it to be released, as a single pack... or pay evilbay prices, thats life.

i will not pay anymore than the original price for a character

I may pay alittle more, but no more than 9. I wont buy any off of ebay as they are cashing in

if you're looking at ebay, i havent found anythin under $30 for ignitor. Just wait for him to release individually, he will.

I really want Ignitor. I hope he gets released in a single pack soon. :/

As someone who is getting the 3DS version for Xmas I want to stubbornly say "No, don't release him in an individual pack! Make him rare so only AWESOME people like me can own him!"

But yeah, that would suck. He will be in a single pack eventually so everyone gets to play him, I think they just wanted the early 3DS release to be another incentive to purchase that version.

I have to agree with most of you, and with "kappapopm" mostly! It's not a bad deal just to pick up the 3d's version. You get Dark Spyro, Ignitor, and an extra mini portal that can be used for your computer. If you don't have Stealth Elf that is a bonus too!
I think he will eventually be released as an individual but for now is a good marketing strategy or bad strategy depending on how you look at it?...it made me by a 3D's and the 3D's version of the game! haha Love it too!

I'm definitely in high hopes for him to have his own character pack. If Stealth Elf can have her own, then so should Ignitor.

I'd have to agree with you there. Looks almost too good to be true.

That's probably why it's marked as "out of stock".

Buy the 3DS version, and then give me the game.
