Target - I have like, what? Three Targets in my vicinity? One of them used to have TWO sections for Skylanders. The first one was for Whirlwind only plus the games. There were only two Whirlwinds left, and I got the last one
Later on, I believe that same stand was taken down for some Kinect games, but the Skylanders games remained hidden in the bottom. The last one has the standard set-up, 'cept with no more single figures.Best Buy - I call bull on BB
Their display is located waaay at the back of their video game section. They nearly had all of the toys with them, which is where I picked up my Sonic Boom.GameStop - One of them had a small stand right next to Skyward Sword, of all things. They nearly have all of the Wave 2 figures, and small boxes just like those in Costco. Which is odd since they used to just have the PS3 copy on the counter.
Toys R Us - I have the Express one since my nearest Toys R Us is 46 minutes from me
They barely sold anything, though...So, let's hear your Skylanders stories

The figures are constantly gone or near empty at every nearby store. Most people I talk to know what the game is even if they dont play; they usually also agree that the figures look amazing. The general perception of this game is very positive (besides the whole "You have to buy figures to play the whole game!?!" crowd) and it's obvious the game is doing quite well in the Northern Virginia area. Stores cant keep up, Walmart had put up a whole new set of stock today and by the time I got there at 2pm (thanksgiving day not black friday) there was 2 wrecking balls, 1 dino-rang, and 1 zap at the store.
