This was before most stores restocked today for Black Friday...
Walmart: Usually have 4-6 random characters, usually an overage of Drill Sergeants and Boomers. Tons of Pirate Seas packs.
Target: Very few characters; a nice display for the game but not much actually for sale. Whirlwind is pretty much always gone. A few pirate seas were here as well.
Toys'R'Us: Literally every single pack character pack was gone. Only thing available were wave 1 3-packs or the adventure packs. TONS of room in the store for these toys. There was a display when you first walked in, a display in the video game section and even an endcap at the action figure aisle. For this much space it was scary that literally every figure was gone. EDIT: Also, there was still a bunch of legendary 3 packs, at least 10 of them.
Gamestop: Had two characters left and one Pirate Seas. Two figures were Eruptor and Stealth Elf.
Personally: I am a 24 year old so my age range is really the target audience for this game. I hear a lot of people talking about their child/nephew/niece playing this game but you wonder if they are secretly playing it too

The figures are constantly gone or near empty at every nearby store. Most people I talk to know what the game is even if they dont play; they usually also agree that the figures look amazing. The general perception of this game is very positive (besides the whole "You have to buy figures to play the whole game!?!" crowd) and it's obvious the game is doing quite well in the Northern Virginia area. Stores cant keep up, Walmart had put up a whole new set of stock today and by the time I got there at 2pm (thanksgiving day not black friday) there was 2 wrecking balls, 1 dino-rang, and 1 zap at the store.
I'm glad this game is doing so well. Many games will empty your pocket but most don't give you a cool figurine to show for it!
