I saw in the K-Mart flyer, the XBox 360 starter set is $50.

The figures are $5.

That's weird...
In our stores it's still $79 for consoles. For the 3DS it's even $93.

Well, Black Friday is nearing so it must be early sales.

Toys R' Us has a 4 day sale where you can get the starters for 49.95 and buy 2 figures for $10. They also have a buy 1 get 1 40% promo which I am going to check if it stacks.

I want the XBox version but I also want the 3DS version for the figures. If it works then I could get the 2 starters for $80 + tax : )

On the day they were released the Warehouse had a special on the figures, 2 for $30 (New Zealand $ BTW), instead of $20 each. So not really that big a deal that they're on sale now.

UK hasn't put any on sale yet....

Reading more of the K-Mart flyer, I noticed the sale is only on Friday and Saturday next week.

Given that plenty of AAA titles that are a few weeks old go on sale nowadays and that there's been 2 buy 2 get 1 free sales going on recently (Toys R Us and Target), there's been some good opportunities to get the game cheaply already.

Retailers are pretty desperate for sales this year. There's been good sales for most everything if you're willing to wait a couple of weeks lately, and video games are no exception.

The days that a game came out and that there was no way to get it cheaper for months are gone it seems.

Personally, the Target $50 for the starter set is interesting to me. If I can get BB to price match it, I could get the Vault that way. I just need to find someone willing to buy the starter set (sans vault) from me for a decent price so that the vault won't be too expensive. Currently trying to convince coworkers that they should get the game .

When I called gamestop they told me on friday they'll be having sales $5 for single characters and $13 for the expansions and 3 char packs
