Hey guys I was wondering If I should get this game for Xbox, I have it for the 3DS, but it's not all that great.

I have both and I highly recommend the console over the 3ds. It's not that bad but the consol version is infinitely better. If the ds just existed I would say it is definatly not worth getting all the characters, but the seamless transition between skylanders that play in such unique ways makes it all a much better experience.

The integration of the characters in the console version is much better than in the 3DS version. It's a different game altogether. The game isn't hard, but it is fun. I guess it depends on your age and likes. For me, nobody but me in the house plays the 3DS game, while my 3 year old and 7 year old play the console version with me.

It's definitely kid friendly though: No cheap deaths from falling off of a platform, no difficult jumps (and failing the jump doesn't kill you) and the puzzles are about as simple as can be. That said, I always have hated the cheap death of most platform games and like the story and (most) characters, so for me it's one of the best games I've played this year (the other one being Forza 4 for me).

I don't care for FPS as they just make me nauseous, and big open world RPGs (Skyrim for example) aren't my cup of tea. I prefer my games simple and arcade-like. Just something I can pick up for a few minutes and play.

havent played the 3ds version but for me the console version is one of the great games that have been released this year. i say it is absolutely worth getting...

I have the XBox 360 version, and it's a lot of fun.
