id love a limited edition christmas themed skylander, i imagine a new character is a bit much, but even if a character had a new christmas themed paint job. would be a pretty cool december promotion in my opinion.

say the original game came out on october the 14th here in uk, and 'wave 2' is coming november the 18th, what do you reckon the chances 'wave 3' will be mid december then? because i really would like the ice adventure pack as a nice wintery thing.

Well, the Empire of Ice Adventure Pack has a Santa Hat to find.... So hopefully, like Dark said, it will be out before Christmas.

ah sorry i did not know that, im yet to play the console version, its 'for my christmas' you see, but i did buy myself the 3ds version despite not having a 3ds so i can use the portal and characters on the web game! but im glad to hear that there is an element of christmas in skylanders! fingers crossed ice adventure will be out in time then!!
the adventure packs are what im most excited for, because i mean we have seen all the figures of skylanders on the posters, so atleast the adventure packs will have something new, i know on the web game you can see what it will include, but i still havent seen the real figures yet, im dying for a little sparx figure!

I thought there was a video that showed it in a snowy setting....thing is, I forgot whose gameplay video it was. But I'm pretty sure it's Empire of Ice.

Only one I can think of was the "Dante's Freezer" part in "A New Beginning."

When I was ringing around to see if any place had Dino-rang early (no one did) JB HIFI said they were getting a new wave of Skylanders in the 1st week of December... So either NZ ain't getting Dino and Hex n stuff til then, or that's when the next wave comes out...

yeah fingers crossed that would be wave 3! would suck for you guys if thats only wave 2

Going back to the topic, I for one would actually not like Christmas versions of the characters. Releasing a snow level where you can get a Santa hat is about as far as I would really care about it. I don't hate Christmas or anything, but I guess everything from this holiday, no matter how pretty, always looks a little tacky.

This is only really based on personal aesthetic taste though... I would probably get it anyway.

this is true, releasing the snow level for christmas would certainly be enough for me
