Disk not reading? [CLOSED]

So I got a new portal due to the other one dying on me and ever since then I've been getting the 'Disk cannot be read, check Wii operations manual for details' error and then my Wii turns off.

Think my Wii is the problem due to it starting to die? Or do you think it's the new portal?

Note: The game worked fine until the death of my old portal. Are they connected?

Try some other game discs. If they work it's the disc. If they don't work either, it's your Wii.

Did you put the disk in upside down?
