Figures - Region locked? [CLOSED]

Does anyone know if the figures are region locked? I've got one person saying they are, and the other saying they aren't.

first time i heard this... it sound a bit strange..


how about the portals? can you use a ps3 portal on the pc or the pc portal on the ps3?? etc

No they are not as I live in Oz but have a few figurines from US and all work fine.

i think all of the portals are locked to the console they belong to. the usb wired portal for xbox 360 wont work on a wii (which uses the wireless portal like the ps3) if anyone can confirm if ps3/wii portals are swapable id like to know, and same with pc/xbox 360

Of course all portals work on the PC for online play.

I tried the 3ds one on my Wii and it worked (wired).

I would expect all wired ones will work as USB is USB. However, wireless could be a diff kettle of gillmen?

i just tested my 3ds portal on my ps3 and it work on the ps3 with usb... what was strange is that you have to have something under the figurine(i used a tape roll), that raise it ca 2cm above the portal before it register the figurine.

i have now tested the 3ds portal (usb) on the pc game(got the exclusive bowler hat, saved to the char!!) and the pc web based flash game, it works very good with both....

i also fixed the 2cm above the portal issue ..
