you have the voodoo character in magic and voodoo is all about the undead, it even have a skull on its chest.. so its clearly that the voodoo character fit more in the undead elements than magic. then you have the hex character in the undead, witches are all about magic and not the undead, so hex is a magic character no doubt about that. its obvious that the one that made the choice for the character didnt know the differences between a witch and a voodoo character...

I actually believe that hex belongs because of her back story. She was a witch but she was turned into an undead. The voodood thing is a little weird but he casts magic an he is alive. The undead type is based around whether they are undead characters, not really their magic.

You make a good point though. There are some characters that could defiantly have two types. In chop chops bio it says he is also a tech type.

i think that spyro fits to be a fire character, since he uses fire all the time. plus, he is also a dragon...

yes that is true, spyro is all about fire. spyro could have replaced the flamslinger that is an elf with a bow and fit more in with the life elements...

I think there is also an element of balancing involved in the mix of melee versus casting chars.

@chaosworrier

of course there is but the natural elements come first for the character, like spyro it is fire but he can also have magic... in skylanders spyro, they go for secondary elements and not his first that is natural to the character. same goes for voodoo and hex to....

they call her hex, so i think it is pretty much self explained what that character is. if it was a necromancer it should have a bone staff or something with bone.

Hex's background story explains her better, and why she's in that category. Voodood is probably in Magic because he's still living, I guess?

Spyro's catchphrase thing is even all fired up. And I don't get how slam bam got into water.

Slam-Bam is working with Ice, and as far as I know, Ice is frozen water =P

For Spyro, his background (previous games) is telling that he has several powers no? Even though only fire is seen in the game.

Usually Ice is considered a different element in video games and is used to replace wind or water. So, I geuss you are right but he dosn't look like ice either. He just seems to punch stuff, not freeze it.
