Give me some reasons why it would be nice. One of my faults? You have to buy other toys to get to other places in the game. And That's just stupid. And should I get the PC version or the Wii version?

Wii for sure, people say the PC one lags and sometimes I wonder how people cope without an analog stick(think thats right).

It is a fun game and it is not as "childish" as I thought it would be, it can be challenging in some places even for the experienced gamer. Yes you have to get the 4 adventure packs (2 currently released) to do the 4 extra missions, but they come with magic items(which are really useful) and a character each. Then if you like the whole collection aspect you can go for the all the characters, if not you can just get the ones you like the look of.

You can then use your figures online with the Spyro's universe website and if you get a 3DS at some point with the game (Skylanders on 3DS is a diffrent game) you can use the figures again there.

So if I just get all characters to all the specific powers/elements I can still go to all the areas?

youll just need one of every element.

well, to get every little thing in the game, you will want all characters for the special bonus challenges you can do with Cali. But no one can do all of those yet as the characters aren't all revealed yet.
